Chapter 1307
Substitutee Marriage: Fallingg For My Ugly Wifee
Myloâs heart skipped a beat as he noted her reaction. Women often disapprove of men going to such
places.
âTrust me. Iâve never been to one,â he quickly assured.
Turning her face away, Judie replied coldly, âWhoâs going to believe you?â
It would be somewhat credible if it were any other man, but Mylo, known for his wild lifestyle and
claiming he had never visited such places, seemed highly unlikely to be believed by anyone.

Myloâs voice trembled with an earnest plea as he reached for Judieâs hand, his eyes filled with sincerity.
âItâs my fault, but you have to believe that since I met you, Iâve never set foot in a place like that. Iâve
been consumed by thoughts of you. How could I find time for such endeavors when you, my dear, are
my paradise?â
Judie, however, withdrew her hand abruptly and retorted, âDonât touch me with your filthy hand.â
With deliberate distance, she inched a meter away, casting aside Myloâs efforts.
Myloâs hopes had crumbled. Everything he had attempted was in vain.
Watching the scene unfold, Marcus seized the opportunity to offer Millie a drink, making their closeness
even more pronounced. Mylo gritted his teeth, refusing to shoulder this humiliation alone.
âBy the way, youâve been there too. Donât just single me out.â
Millie furrowed her brows, her discomfort apparent.
âMen can be such scoundrels,â she muttered.
The image of the video she had witnessed loomed in her mind. In the dim lighting, a woman clad in
tight attire and a short skirt knelt, gently massaging the guestsâ feet.
The unsettling thought that one of those patrons might have been Marcus gnawed at her.
Marcus was perplexed. When did he visit that place? Mylo was causing problems for him.
âI swear, Iâve never set foot in that place, or Iâll meet a terrible fate.â
Disgusted, Millie set her drink aside.
âJust give me some space, okay?
I need a moment alone.â
Despite over ten minutes of cajoling, Millieâs mood showed no signs of improvement as she continued
to gaze into the pond, her focus on the fish. Marcus, who had been contemplating a cigarette, realized
he had forgotten to bring any.
He glanced at Mylo, who felt a chill in the air.
In the midst of the fish spa, Marcus and Mylo couldnât sit still any longer and decided to step outside to
the pavilion for a smoke break.
The coldness in Marcusâs eyes sent shivers down Myloâs spine as he settled beside him.
