Chapter 433
Substitutee Marriage: Fallingg For My Ugly Wifee
At this point, Nancy was too distraught to pay attention to her surroundings. She only snapped out of her reverie when Humphrey
suddenly grabbed her arm and yanked her backward.
âWatch out! You almost walked into a snow pit.â
Nancy looked down at the well-hidden snow pit with a surprised look on her face.
She peered into the tiny opening she had nearly stepped into and saw a deep pit.
The snow pit looked to be at least four to five meters deep. It would be very dangerous to fall into it.
It would be hard to climb out of such a deep and cold pit. Thankfully, Humphrey grabbed Nancy before she could step on it and
fall.
âDid you get scared? Donât worry. Iâm here with you. Everything will be fine. Hey, you're pale. Are you really okay?â Humphrey
asked worriedly.
However, Nancy was not listening to him.
She could not take her eyes off the snow pit.
Her mind was coming up with an evil plan. People barely passed by that area. If Millie were to fall into the snow pit, she would
definitely die from the cold.
âNancy, what are you thinking about?â Humphrey questioned.
He finally realized that Nancy was not listening to him at all.
Nancy blinked, and then she was smiling at him. âNothing. Anyway, can you go back to the hotel and get me some water? Iâm
feeling a bit thirsty.â
The clouds were getting thicker, and according to the news, there was a chance of heavy snowfall later.
âWe should go back together. Itâs getting late, and | heard thereâll be snowfall later.â
Nancy shrugged. âItâs still a bit until nightfall. | still want to do some more walking.
Well, you donât really have to get me water if you donât want to. You can also go back to the hotel. Iâm fine on my own.â
Humphrey sighed in defeat. âFine. I'll go and get you some water. Wait here for me, okay?â
âAs soon as he was out of sight, Nancy pulled out her phone and dialled Millie's number.
Millie had just completed her purchases and was walking out of a specialty store when her phone rang.
It was Nancy who called her. The womanâs tone was demanding as she said, âMillie, meet me at the forest. | have something to
tell you.â
âWhat is it? Tell me right now over the phone.â
