“Derek, representing the Thomas Group, we’ve come to inquire about Millie’s well-being. How is she faring?”

Derek's brows knitted in response.

“Please return tomorrow. Mrs. Brown requires some tranquilly.”

Upon this denial, Nancy deliberately amplified her tone. She was resolute in her determination to see Millie today.

“| simply wish to check on her briefly. Our visit won’t be prolonged.”

Millie narrowed her eyes, glancing towards Marcus.

“Permit their entrance.”

Yet Marcus pursed his lips in disagreement.

“No, they can return tomorrow.”
