Chapter 475
Substitutee Marriage: Fallingg For My Ugly Wifee
Chapter: 475
Millieâs pupils dilated with worry. She took a step forward, planning to massage Claudiaâs chest to calm her down.
However, Freyja beat her into it.
Millie stepped back, but her concern for the older womanâs health remained.
She cocked her head to the side and gave Marcus the side eye. It was because of him that grandmother was upset. Could he
not have said another reason why she was doing housework?
Soon, Claudia started coughing, still finding it hard to breathe because of too much anger.
Millie stepped forward again. The old woman was too worked up. She had to calm down.
âGrandma, heâs right. | offered to help out around the house to get some exercise. It keeps me healthy, and it increases my
appetite. Thatâs why | eat a lot these days. In fact, this is the healthiest Iâve ever felt,â Millie declared as she brought a hand to
Claudiaâs chest.
Still fuming, Claudia turned to Millie and gave her a doubtful look.
She then sighed. âYou're lying to me, too.â
âIm now, Grandma. Itâs the truth. Didnât you notice that Iâd gained some weight since the last time we met at the birthday party?
Before, | could barely manage a few bites, but now | can eat much more.â
While she was talking, Millie spread her arms exaggeratedly to emphasize how much her appetite had increased.
Everyone looked at her incredulously.
Claudia took a good long look at Millie. The younger woman did not gain weight at all. If anything, she just got thinner.
âYou really know how to calm me down. Alright, then. As long as you two are getting along with each other, | wonât meddle in your
relationship. You can go now, Millie, Marcus. | need to talk to Leon and Lois about something.â
Claudia glanced at Loieâs wrist. Her relationship with Leon was what had been worrying the old woman more than anything lately.
As instructed, Millie and Marcus walked out of the room.
Marcus had a myriad of thoughts in his mind. He turned to Millie, wanting to say something to her.
Before he could do so, however, Millie pulled out her phone, walked to the window, and dialled a number.
âDoctor, | hate to be a bother, especially this late at night, but | have something to ask you. You told me that the last name of the
doctor who bought medicine for my grandmother from abroad was Thomas. | thought you were referring to Leon Thomas. | know
now that itâs not him, so who did it? | really want to thank him.
Can you tell me who he is? | want to repay him, too.â âSo, you donât want to tell me.
Fine, I'll try to figure it out on my own.â
Millie turned around to look at Marcusâ towering figure and handsome face.
