Chapter 583
Substitutee Marriage: Fallingg For My Ugly Wifee
Chapter: 583
Slowly, the kidnappers grinned, enraptured by the prospect of obtaining twenty million dollars. It was
more than they would ever need in their lives.
However, there was a catch.
âWe have no idea where she is right now, though. How are we going to find her? Let alone exchange
you for her?â one of the kidnappers asked.
âDo as I say, and she will come here herself,â Lois stated.
She did not want to put Millie in harmâs way. She loved Leon very much and would sacrifice anything
for him, but she could not lose him.
Millieâs existence was like a fuse that might go off at any moment. Lois was afraid that she would steal
Leon from her someday, so she had to remove her from the picture before it came to that.
In the Sirius Villa, Leonâs phone rang again.
His assistant, who had instructed the bank to have two million dollars in cash ready, was standing
beside him.
The kidnappers had Lois, and Leon must rescue her. After all, she was his fiancée.
âAre the kidnappers calling again?â Donât worry, sir. The money will be ready soon,â the assistant
reassured.
After picking up the phone, Leonâs demeanour changed.
He listened to the kidnapperâs instructions before inquiring, âAre you saying that you donât want the
money now and that you want me to bring Millie to you in exchange for Lois?â
Leon narrowed his eyes and added, âFirst, you told me to prepare two million dollars in cash, and now,
you want me to bring a person there?â
His tone was so authoritative that it made the kidnappers uncomfortable. One of them collected himself
immediately.
âThatâs right. Bring Millie here immediately. We believe that sheâll make us more money than this
woman. Millieâs husband was the CEO of the Thomas Group, a billionaire, after all. Anyway, once you
bring Millie to us, weâll let go of your fiancée immediately.â
The kidnapper kept persuading, âI donât see why youâd pass up a chance like this.
Just bring Millie here, and we wonât charge you a dime. If you donât hurry, we will hurt your fiancée.â
Then, Leon heard the sound of something being hit, followed by Lois crying out in pain.
âPlease stop,â Lois sobbed.
âStop!â Lois hissed.
âYour fiancée has very soft skin. I like it,â the kidnapper drawled.
âGet your dirty hands off me. Donât touch me!â Lois demanded.
