Chapter 591
Substitutee Marriage: Fallingg For My Ugly Wifee
Chapter: 591
When it still didnât go through after several tries, Bruce gave up.
Marcus frowned. His wife sure had a strong influence on him.
He actually thought that Millie would come over.
At that time, a knock sounded at the door and Derek came in with a document in hand.
He gave it to Marcus and asked in a low voice, âAre you really going to do this, sir?â
Marcus took the document and opened it without saying a word. Lips set in a firm line, he read the lines
on the divorce agreement. Those in the room thought he was just reading an ordinary work document.
Suddenly, a page fell to the floor. Mylo picked it up, saying, âYou donât always have to work so hard.
You canât be dealing with work when you came here to have fun.â
Mylo glanced at the paper and suddenly shouted, âDivorce agreement?â
The names on it read, Marcus and Millie.
It read, the married couple decided to divorce due to a discord that couldnât be solved. It even listed the
terms.
Mylo read the document out loud, shocking everyone in the room. They looked at each other in horror.
Marcus ignored them, took a golden pen, unscrewed the lid without any emotion on his face and
prepared to sign.
âYes, Iâm divorcing her. From now on, she is no longer my wife. I donât want to hear you calling her Mrs.
Thomas again.â
An anxious Bruce said, âMarcus, there has to be a misunderstanding. Millie doesnât seem like a bad
person. She wouldnât murder your mother. There has to be another explanation.â
Bruce originally didnât want anyone to find out about it, but Marcusâ impulsive decision to divorce made
him blurt it out.
In just a few minutes, they had received two huge shocks.
âShe tried to murder your mother. What happened?â
âIs it true?â
âWhen did it happen? And how?â
Marcus said with a frown, âI saw it with my own eyes. She is not a good woman and nothing can
convince me otherwise. Iâm getting divorced and never getting married again.â
Even though Millie was wicked and didnât deserve it, he still compensated her with
20 million cash and a villa. This was something very little to him, of course. But he wasnât forced to give
her anything.
