Chapter 631
Substitutee Marriage: Fallingg For My Ugly Wifee
âYm laughing because I think itâs funny how youâre taking advantage of other peopleâs ignorance to trick
them. Since when did my husband become your boyfriend? Youâre the shameless one here.â
âWait, so the man who owns the Bentley is her husband?â Murmurs erupted around them again.
Rhea quickly retorted, âDonât believe her. Sheâs lying. If heâs really her husband, why is she staying
here instead of in a luxurious villa?â
Suddenly, Millie took out her phone and waved it at Rhea. âIâll call him to find out whoâs lying between
us, then. I really want to know when you became my husbandâs girlfriend.â
With that, she dialed Marcusâ number.
Rhea instantly became anxious when she realized that Millie actually called Marcus. She looked
terrified, but it was already too late to take her words back.
When the call went through, Millie tapped on the speaker button.
On the other end of the line, Marcus was pleasantly surprised to have received a call from Millie so
soon after he left her place. His voice was captivating as always as he asked, âWhat? Do you miss me
already?â
Millie flushed, but she quickly composed herself.
âRhea is at my place right now. Sheâs shouting at my neighbours, claiming that youâre her boyfriend and
that Iâm your mistress. So, are you really her boyfriend?
âAm I really your mistress?â
âRhea, are you crazy?â The tone in Marcusâ voice changed, and it turned ominous.
Ignoring the pain in her ankle, Rhea surged forward and snatched the phone from Millieâs hand. Her
face had turned pale, and she stammered, âMarcus, I⦠Iâm sorry. I was wrong. Iâll leave now.â
Rhea handed the phone back to Millie and limped out of the neighbourhood.
For a few minutes, the onlookers were too shocked to say anything. Then, they started expressing their
disappointment.
âIt turns out that sheâs the one who wants to seduce another womanâs husband.
The nerve! Is she out of her mind?â
âProbably. Unfortunately, there are a lot of women like her out there.â
Millie did not bother listening to them and closed the door.
âMillie, are you okay?â
âIâm fine.â
After saying that, she ended the call. Her tone was hostile because she felt annoyed with Rhea. Also,
when she saw the other womanâs arrogant expression, she remembered that time when her
grandmother was pushed out of bed.
