ENGAGEMENT PART 2 - 15♡
YEH LAMHA ✅
The city of Kashi was bathed in the warm glow of the evening sun, casting long shadows that made the ancient city look even more beautiful. Everywhere we looked, we saw the smiling faces of its sweet people, bustling about their daily lives with a sense of purpose and joy.
Inside a grand hall, two soulmates stood before each other, their hearts brimming with love and anticipation. As they exchanged promises of eternal love and devotion in the form of rings, the air was charged with emotion and the room was filled with a palpable sense of magic.
In that moment, everything seemed to fade away - the noise of the city, the distractions of the world - and all that remained was the pure, unadulterated love that flowed between them. It was a beautiful sight to behold, and we were privileged to witness it.
The sun continued to set, casting a golden hue over the city as the newlyweds basked in the glow of their love, surrounded by family and friends. It was a moment that would be etched in their hearts forever, and in ours too.
a soft music was playing making that moment more romantic
Allah Mujhe Dard Ke Kaabil Bana Diya
Toofan Ko Hi Kashti Ka Saahil Bana Diya
Bechainiyan Samet Ke Saare Jahaan Ki
Jab Kuch Na Ban Saka Toh Mera Dil Bana Diya
O Saathi Tere Bina
Raahi Ko Raah Dikha Na
O Saathi Tere Bina
Haan Aan Saahil Dhuyaan Dhuyaan
Hmm mm..
Aankhein Moonde To Jaane Kisey Dhoondhein?
Ki Soya Jaaye Na, Ki Soya Jaaye Na
Kise Dhoondhe Yeh Khwahishon Ki Boondein
Ki Soya Jaaye Na, Ki Soya Jaaye Na
Maano Nindiya Piroya Jaaye Na
Maano Nindiya Piroya Jaaye Na

AAHAN POV
As we stood facing each other, lost in the moment and caught up in the magic of our love, I reached for Srishti's hand. She looked up at me with eyes that shone like diamonds in the sunlight, and a smile that lit up her face like a thousand stars. I held her gaze, mesmerized by the way she looked at me, her beauty taking my breath away.
sitting down in front of her on my right knee. I opened a small box in front of her, revealing a golden ring with a diamond in the middle, along with some in the golden band. I told me, "I thought gold would look beautiful with your skin tone."
As I placed the ring on her finger, sealing our commitment to one another, I leaned in and pressed my lips gently against her forehead my first forehead kiss for her as a flash was seen from guest side' toh finally bhai ne ye moment capture kar hi liya' i said in my mind . A blush crept up her cheeks as she lowered her gaze to her feet, momentarily overwhelmed by the intensity of our love.
As we basked in the euphoria of our union, the sound of thunderous applause and cheers filled the air around us. Amidst the commotion, my eyes were drawn to a heavily pregnant woman in the crowd who was shouting with unbridled joy. It was then that I saw Srishti looking in the same direction, their eyes meeting in a moment of unspoken understanding.
The woman's cheers slowly died down as she turned to Srishti with a playful wink and a smile that could light up a room. In that instant leaving me with a sense of wonder and curiosity about the magic that had transpired.
SRISHTI POV
As I got ready for my engagement ceremony, a wave of nervousness swept over me. I couldn't shake off the feeling of apprehension that clung to me like a shadow, filling me with a sense of unease. What if something went wrong? What if I tripped and fell before reaching the stage?
In the midst of my anxious thoughts, my dear friends Isha and Sneha sat beside me, chatting away like long lost sisters. It was their first time meeting each other, but they hit it off instantly, with their laughter filling the room and chasing away my worries.
As I stood in front of the mirror, admiring my reflection, Isha playfully scolded me"srishti, why didn't you tell me you were coming? I would have done some shopping together!", to which Sneha responded, "Yeah, I had to take a last-minute flight to make it here. Being pregnant makes things a little more complicated."
As we continued talking, I couldn't help but think about how difficult it was to get them added to the guest list. Aahan had been quite strict about it, and I had to pull some strings to make it happen.
As we chatted, a small figure entered the room and hugged my legs, causing me to look down in surprise. It was my niece Devika, with her cheeky smile and infectious laughter.
"Aww, my little jaan is here!" I exclaimed, Her presence brought an instant smile to my face, and I scooped her up in my arms, tickling her and making her laugh. This small moment of joy and laughter was just what I needed to forget about my fears and enjoy the moment with my loved ones
"Bua, you are looking so pretty," Devu said, admiringly.
"No, Devu, you're lying. Today, the prettiest one here is you. Baccha, you look so pretty. Tumhari bhi engagement karwade," Sneha chimed playfully in response i just look at her with fake angry expression.
sneha said with a playful smile in response devu made the face of crying which make us all laugh i tried to consel her that they were joking
Just then, my mother walked into the room, her eyes brimming with tears. "Mera bacha kitna sundar lag raha hai," she said emotionally. She took some kohl from her eyes and put it on the backside of my ears to protect me from bad eyes. This gesture made me smile and I hugged her tightly.
"Can I join?" Sneha asked cheekily, gesturing towards our hug. My mother nodded with a smile and Sneha entered our embrace.
After a few minutes, my mother left the room. Sneha turned to me with a sly grin on her face. "Saru ruk yahi me jiju ko dekh kar to aa jau," she said, before exiting the room with Isha. The word "jiju" made me blush, and my conscious voice chided me. "Saru, Saru, shut up. Why are you blushing?" I just shook my head, unable to control my emotions
After some time, Sneha entered the room with a large plate full of different types of ice creams. As they both began to enjoy their sweet treats, Sneha teasingly said to Srishti, "You know, Srishti, your soon-to-be husband is looking even better than you today." Srishti rolled her eyes and threw a pillow at Sneha. They continued to enjoy their ice cream for a few moments before Srishti suddenly spoke up, "Hey, where did Isha go?" Sneha paused mid-bite, looking around the room. "I don't know, actually. She was here a little while ago."
Srishti furrowed her brow in concern, "That's strange. She's usually around." Sneha shrugged, "Maybe she went to get some snacks or something." They both went back to their ice cream, but the question lingered in the air.
AT ENGAGEMENT
As Srishti entered the hall where the engagement was going to happen, she could feel her heart racing with nerves. Her hands started shaking uncontrollably, and she was worried that she might drop something or embarrass herself. When she caught a glimpse of the man who was going to be her husband, she felt a wave of shyness wash over her. As Aahan extended his hand to her, Srishti hesitated at first, but then she took it, and he squeezed it gently, trying to reassure her.
When Aahan complimented her on her appearance, Srishti felt her heart skip a beat. She had never been one to receive compliments easily, but something about the way he said it made her feel beautiful. She couldn't help but blush, feeling a mix of shyness and joy.
As they greeted the other guests, Srishti couldn't help but steal glances at Aahan. She was still nervous, but there was also a sense of comfort in his presence. She was beginning to realize that maybe, just maybe, this arranged marriage might not be so bad after all.
After some time when they were greeting other guests, Isha and Sneha came over to stand beside Srishti. Srishti introduced them to Aahan, and in response, Aahan smiled politely with a nod. But Sneha couldn't resist teasing him and said, "Hi myself Sneha, jiju ji apse milkar accha laga." This made Aahan a little shy as he started to rub the back of his neck. "Toh vo aap hi ho jo hooting kar rahi thi?" he asked with a small smile. Sneha grinned cheekily, and they both started to talk.
As they chatted, Srishti was standing there with a small, genuine smile. But Isha looked awkward, not knowing what to say. As they all made small talk, Aahan suddenly excused himself and took Srishti's hand before moving outside.
As they were moving, Sneha couldn't help but give a teasing smile towards Srishti with a wink, causing Srishti to roll her eyes playfully. On the other hand, Isha was just looking at them with a confused expression, not quite sure what was going on
The garden was transformed into a breathtakingly beautiful sight. The soft glow of twinkling fairy lights wrapped around the trees, creating a magical ambiance. The garden was adorned with colorful flowers of different varieties, which added a touch of elegance to the setup. A few lanterns were scattered here and there, casting a warm golden light around the area. The night sky was clear, and the stars twinkled above, adding to the enchanting feel of the moment. The sound of soft music wafted through the air, making the atmosphere even more romantic. It was a scene straight out of a fairytale, and Srishti felt like she was living in a dream.
As Srishti turned her gaze towards Aahan, she was taken aback by what she saw. He was sitting on one knee, with a small heart-shaped balloon in his hand, and a wide grin on his face. The twinkle in his eyes and the way he looked at her made her heart skip a beat. The garden around them seemed to fade away as she focused on him, the only thing that mattered in that moment.
Srishti looked at him with a mix of surprise and confusion as he sat there on one knee, holding a small heart balloon in his hand. "Aahan, what are you doing?" she asked, trying to wrap her head around the situation. "Mrs., this is for you. I know ki ye real nahi hai, lekin apke liye vo bhi manjoor hai," he said with a chuckle, but quickly got serious again. "I know this is too fast, lekin aaj nahi toh kab. I want to say Srishti, I like you and I was really happy that the girl was you with whom I was going to live for the rest of my life. I know this is too sudden, but I want to say, 'I really love you,' and I don't want you to think that our relationship is just because of an arranged marriage," he said in a breath, his eyes filled with apprehension.
"Aahan, ye matlab kesa mtlb hum nahi jante ek dusre ko and 1 mahina me love?" she said while helping him stand up. She was still trying to process everything he had just said.
"Srishti, I understand this may be too sudden for you, and I don't want to force you to love me. I just wanted to be honest with you and let you know how I feel," Aahan said, holding her hand gently.
Srishti looked at him with a mix of emotions - surprise, confusion, and a hint of happiness. She had never expected Aahan to be so open and vulnerable with her. "Aahan, I appreciate your honesty, and I want you to know that I respect you for being so upfront about your feelings. I need some time to process everything, but I promise to give your proposal some serious thought," Srishti said, returning his gentle grip.
Aahan smiled, relieved that Srishti had not rejected him outright. "Take all the time you need, srishti. I just wanted to be honest with you and let you know that I am serious about us," he said, before releasing her hand and taking a step back.
Srishti watched as he walked away, feeling a strange mix of emotions. She knew that she needed to think things through before she made any decisions, but a part of her was excited at the prospect of being with Aahan. She turned to look at the heart balloon in her hand, feeling a flutter in her heart as she realized that she might have just found her happily ever after.
---------------------------â¡-------------------
Sometimes, we're afraid to accept someone's feelings because we're not ready to reciprocate them. Other times, we may be afraid of getting hurt, or we may not want to ruin the friendship we already have. It's important to communicate openly and honestly with the other person and take the time to evaluate our own feelings before making any decisions. Ultimately, it's better to be honest and clear about our intentions than to lead someone on or hurt them unintentionally.
And same Srishti was insecure here and little bit confused
So let's see where their destiny will take them
