SRISHTI POV

Srishti was exhausted from her long shift in the emergency department, and as she slumped into her chair to catch her breath, her phone began to ring. She let out an exasperated sigh, wondering who could be calling her at this hour.

"Ugh, why won't this phone stop ringing?" she muttered to herself in annoyance, as she rudely answered the call.

"Hello?" she answered, her voice betraying her irritation.

To her surprise, it was the hospital security guard on the other end of the line.

"Srishti beta, someone has sent you another flower parcel," the guard informed her.

Srishti was taken aback by the news. This was the third day in a row that she had received a mysterious package of flowers, and she still had no idea who the sender was or why they were sending them to her.

The first time she had received the flowers, they had arrived at her doorstep with no name or identifying information. The second time, they had been delivered to her by a college, who claimed they had been left for her at the college front desk. And now, here she was, receiving yet another package while on duty at the hospital.

Srishti carefully examined the package, wondering if it was yet another delivery from the mysterious sender who had been sending her flowers. To her surprise, there was a letter inside the package, causing her excitement to skyrocket."kya ye aahan ne bheja hai" srishti said in excitement which soon died as she read those words

"I'm back, and congratulations Ishu. -H."

As she began to read the letter, her heart skipped a beat. The letter was from someone named "H," who had returned and was congratulating someone named "Ishu." Srishti's mind raced as she tried to decipher the meaning behind the cryptic message. Could this be a message meant for her, or was it just a coincidence?

Suddenly, Srishti was jolted back to reality by a loud and accusatory voice. "Are you cheating on your fiancé, Srishti?" the voice boomed, causing heads to turn in her direction.

It was Isha, who had been acting strange ever since Srishti's engagement. Despite Isha's harsh words, Srishti remained calm and composed, lost in her own deep thoughts.

The name mentioned in the letter, "H," sent chills down Srishti's spine. It was a name she hadn't heard in years, but one that she knew all too well. Four years ago, someone with that same initial had been sending her similar packages and letters, causing her to flee to Mumbai for some time until the matter was resolved. After a few months, the letters and packages stopped, with no evidence of who the sender was.

Now, as the memories of that unsettling time came flooding back, Srishti's heart raced with anxiety. Was this a repeat of the past, or was it something entirely new? The thought of having to deal with this again after all these years left her feeling overwhelmed and helpless.

Despite her fears, Srishti tried to remain calm and collected, determined to uncover the truth behind the latest round of letters and flowers. But deep down, she couldn't shake the feeling that she was once again being targeted by an unknown person with a sinister motive.

As she tried to make sense of the situation, Srishti couldn't help but wonder if the person behind the letters and flowers was the same one from before, or if it was someone entirely new.

Srishti finally returned home after her tiring shift and immediately collapsed onto her bed. After a short nap, she made her way to the living room where her family was engaged in a lively discussion. Her mother greeted her with a mischievous grin and urged her to join in.

"Mumma, kya hua?" Srishti asked in return, her mother laughed with tears in her eyes and held Srishti's hands. "Kuch nahi, baccha. Bas Rekha ji ka call aaya tha regarding your marriage date," her mother said while caressing Srishti's hand.

"Toh kya kaha unhone?" Srishti asked in return, her father answered, "Date fix hui hai aapki shaadi ki," he said with a clear and loving expression in his eyes as Srishti looked at them with a questioning look.

"Oh ho, uncle-aunty, itna suspense! Srishti, date fix hui hai 15 din baad ki. Agli date 2 saal baad ki hai, toh ab tum kya chahti ho?" Sneha said, which made Srishti nervous. "15 din? Itni jaldi? Lekin sab hoga kaise?" she said, but Sneha cut her off in the middle of her sentence.

"Uncle-aunty, bhaiya-bhabhi, congratulations! 15 din baad shaadi hai hamare ghar mein," Sneha declared Srishti's marriage date. "Oh madam, raat baat arrangement ki, tumhara se khana nahi banvaiyenge hum toh chill ho jaayega sab," Sneha said, and Srishti's brother responded, "Haan, arrangement ki toh koi problem nahi hai, sabse badi baat tumhara permission chahiye," he said, looking at his sister, who was on the verge of tears.

"Saru, Saru, don't cry. If you don't want, we can have this marriage after 2 years..." "Nahiiiii, Saru, nahi, please don't do this. Abhi toh ye baby pareshan karne ka liye nahi hai 2 saal baad. Main teri shaadi mein dance karungi ya iske diaper change, nahi, nahi, ye mat kar," Sneha said in a begging voice, pointing towards her own stomach, which made them all laugh. "Kya notanki hai tu," Srishti said while pinching Sneha's cheek. "Haan, toh jabhi teri dost hoon, kyun baby," Sneha said while winking.

"So, then, after 15 days?" Srishti's papa questioned. In response, Srishti just nodded shyly, which made them all laugh again with lots of teasing towards her.

AT NIGHT

Srishti sat on her balcony, gazing up at the moon, which cast a gentle glow over the peaceful night sky. The serene atmosphere was in stark contrast to the thoughts racing through her mind.

The idea of being someone's wife was both exhilarating and terrifying. As she pondered over the wedding preparations, her thoughts drifted to the mysterious letter she had received earlier that day. She wanted to discuss it with Aahan, but he was not picking up his phone. Srishti felt frustrated and a little worried. She didn't want any secrets between them, especially now that their lives were going to be officially entwined.

But there that Mr. Psycho was not picking up her call, which was making her frustrated

As she looked at the beautiful night sky, Srishti couldn't help but feel grateful for having Aahan in her life. She remembered how he had confessed his love to her, but she hadn't responded at the time. She needed time to process her own feelings and get to know him better. But now, as their relationship was about to become official, she felt a sense of excitement mixed with a hint of nervousness.

Lost in her thoughts, Srishti was suddenly interrupted by the ringing of her phone. The name "Aahan" flashed on the screen, and her heart skipped a beat. She quickly answered the call, to hear his voice and said in a fake angry tone

"kha the aap?" "hello to you too mrs. " aahan said with a grin " hasso mtt kha the aap" she said again with an irritated voice

"ohhh koi wife ka mode me hai kyu mrs. me aau husband ka mode me?" aahan said in a teasing voice which made srishti blush

"nah- nahi hum to puch rhiya the , nahi btana hai toh na btao" she said in a small voice

"i am happy you are getting open with me mrs. or mei comapany me busy the marriage ka baad free bhi to raha hai apni wife ka liya" aahan said which made srishti shy

"aahan ji, vo hum bol rhiya the-" aahan cut her in mid sentence as he was curious " aap hum kyu bolti ho kitna log bol rhiya hai" he said as she responds "ye hmari aadat hai bachpan se " in response aahan just hummed and asked her to continue her sentence

"hum bol rhiya the hum apko acche se nahi jante toh bato apne bara me kuch .....ek kaam krte hai 10 questin khelta hai ,kya khelo ge aap?" srishti asked the last part in a small voice as he will reject her offer but aahan said "ok you start first"

"toh apka favorite color" she wants to ask something else but she doesn't want him to think ' ye kesa question puch rhi hai ye ldki'

as aahan answer black and blue was his favorite color in response srishti just same pinched him. aahan laugh at her child's attics

after having some normal questions from here and there srishti asked him' you first love ?" as aahan stop for some sec and said"You" in doubt, voice srishti asked"hum vo kaise ?"

"There is a reason, me apko kbhi btau ga time ana par okay" aahan said in which saru just nodded but deep down just wants to know what was the reason now only

"or apka srishti 1st love" he asked in response srishti shyly said" abhi to koi nahi....... but ho skta hai aap hi ho" she said as at last part aahan mutes only he knows what he was feeling at that moment at this point he was blushing

"i will wait for you mrs." he said with clear happiness in his voice before srishti can say anything sneha woke up and came towards srishti

"srishti why are you-" Before she can say any further she saw that srishti was talking with someone with a blush on her face

"ohh srishti why are you so red?" she said this thing in a bit loud tone which make Srishti jerk from her place and she tries to cut the call before having more embarrassed scene as she was trying to cut the call in her nervous state sneha again shouts

"hello jiju" in which aahan laugh and finally srishti cuts the call

After a night of continuous teasing from Sneha, both Srishti and Sneha went to sleep. Srishti had a small smile on her face.

However, amidst all the excitement and laughter, Srishti had forgotten about the main topic of concern, the mysterious letters. She decided to ignore the matter for now and tell Aahan about it some other day.
