Chapter 39

END WITH THEM-32♡

YEH LAMHA ✅

After a long flight, Aahan and Srishti were finally back in India, exhausted but happy to be home. The week spent in Canada was filled with small fights and arguments, but their love for each other never wavered. Aahan slept through most of the flight, while Srishti passed the time watching movies and reading until she, too, fell asleep on Aahan's shoulder.

As they entered their home, they were greeted by the familiar sight of Abhi running around with Sarika chasing after him with a glass of milk. The sound of their laughter was music to Aahan and Srishti's ears, and they couldn't help but smile at the sight. Abhi was the first to spot them, running towards them as fast as his little legs could carry him before he wrapped his arms around Srishti's legs.

"I missed you so much, angel," Abhi said, nuzzling his face into Srishti's clothes.

Aahan couldn't help but feel a little left out as Abhi seemed to have forgotten about him. He looked at Srishti with a sad expression, but she only smirked at him, knowing how he felt. Aahan then spoke up, trying to make his presence known.

"Hey, what about me? Did you forget about me, Abhi?" Aahan asked, hoping for some attention.

Abhi didn't even look at him, which surprised Aahan. But he quickly regained his composure and spoke up again.

"Well, I guess if you don't want your gift, Abhi, that's okay. I'll just keep it for myself," Aahan said with a mischievous grin as if this was a great insult to Abhi's honor.

Srishti couldn't help but laugh at Aahan's reaction, seeing him playfully pouting like a child. She hugged him tightly, happy to be home with the people they loved.

As they were catching up with their family, Aahan felt a sense of comfort and belonging wash over him. Even though he had been away from home for some time, it felt as if he had never left. His father's playful teasing and his mother's loving embrace made him feel like he was right where he belonged.

Srishti too was basking in the warmth of her family's love. She hugged her mother tightly and shared stories of their trip to Canada. Her mother listened intently, her eyes filled with pride and love for her daughter-in-law.

After the warm welcome, they headed to their room, which was now spotlessly clean thanks to the efforts of their family servants. After freshening up, they came down to have lunch with their family, enjoying a delicious meal filled with love and laughter.

As they sat with their family, Aahan and Srishti realized that this was where their destiny had led them - back to their roots, with the people they loved the most.

TIME LEAP

Three months had passed since Srishti and Aahan's honeymoon, and they had settled into a comfortable routine. Srishti had resumed her studies at college, while Aahan was busy running his company. The newlyweds had quickly become a perfect couple, and their relationship was the envy of many.

After returning from their honeymoon, Srishti shared their photos on social media, which had a positive impact on their audience. The rumors about their forced marriage dissipated after seeing their adorable, romantic, and funny posts. Now, they were all gathered at the hospital, waiting for good news. Sneha was on her due date, and at night her water broke. Srishti, Aahan, Sahil, and his parents were there, while Sneha's parents were flying in and would arrive in two hours.

Finally, the doctor emerged from the delivery room with a beaming smile. "Mr. Rathore, congratulations! It's a healthy baby boy," he announced. Sahil was overcome with emotion and asked, "And how is his mommy?"

"No problem, Mr. Rathore. Mrs. Rathore is doing well, just a little exhausted," the doctor replied reassuringly. Srishti, eager to see the new mother and her baby, asked, "When can we meet them?"

"You can see Mrs. Rathore now, but for the baby, we need some time to run some tests," the doctor explained before excusing himself.

Srishti gave Sahil a gentle push towards the room, smiling. "Go see your wife." Once Sahil was inside, Aahan took Srishti's hand and leaned in close to her ear, whispering, "One day, we'll be in this place."

Srishti smiled back at him. "Maybe I'll curse you like Sneha cursed Sahil."

"apke liya toh voh bhi manjoor hai" Aahan said with a wink. Just then, a cough interrupted them, and they noticed the audience they had gathered: Sahil's parents. Srishti and Aahan gave them an awkward smile, and Srishti shot a glare at Aahan, but he just shrugged it off.

The wait for the new baby's arrival was finally over, and the Rathore family was overjoyed with the new addition to their family.

After twenty minutes, Srishti made her way into the hospital room where Sneha lay with a tired yet content expression on her face. Sahil was sitting next to her, gently wiping the sweat from her forehead with a towel. Srishti greeted the new mother with a smile.

"Hello, baby mumma. How are you feeling?" Srishti asked with a grin.

"Hello, baby massi. I'm feeling good," Sneha replied with equal enthusiasm. As they chatted and teased each other, the husbands looked on, shaking their heads in amusement.

Suddenly, a nurse entered the room holding a small bundle in her arms. It was Sneha's newborn baby, a tiny little thing with a red body and no hair on its head. Srishti gazed at the baby in awe, her eyes filling with tears.

"He's so small," sahil whispered.

"Would you prefer if he was nine or ten years old?" Sneha joked, making everyone laugh.

Sneha passed the baby to Sahil, who held him with utmost care. The baby seemed to sense his father's presence and smiled contentedly. After a while, Sahil's parents arrived to meet their grandchild and congratulate the new parents.

As the room cleared out, Srishti remained with Sneha and the baby. She couldn't take her eyes off the little one, who was now asleep in his father's arms.

"My munchkin is finally here," Srishti said, tears streaming down her face. The baby stirred in Sahil's arms and gave a small smile in his sleep as if recognizing his massi.

"Look, he already knows his massi," Srishti exclaimed with delight, extending her hand to take the baby into her arms.

"Hey baby, it's me, the person you planned to run away with. When do you want to leave?" Srishti said, kissing the baby's tiny hands. Sneha and Aahan chuckled at her words.

"Hey, that's cheating. I'm your husband, and you're running away with someone else," Aahan said, kissing Srishti's cheeks.

"Yahhh, not in front of my baby. Go away, get yourself a room, and make me a massi soon," Sneha joked, making Srishti blush.

"Sneha, be quiet. I think he's hungry and tired," Srishti said, looking at the cute baby who was smacking his lips in his father's arms. She bid farewell to Sneha, promising to visit again soon.

As they drove away, Srishti's phone rang, and Harsh's name flashed on the screen. It surprised her a bit since they had only spoken once or twice after the incident. Aahan was already keeping an eye on her from time to time as he drove.

"hi?," Srishti answered, her eyes narrowing at the familiar name flashing on her phone's screen. . She was taken aback to see his name appear again, but Aahan was already glancing at her, after hearing that name as he drove.

"Hey, Srishti. It's Harsh," came the voice on the other end of the line. He explained that he was leaving for the United States for good in just two hours and wanted to meet her for the last time before he left. Srishti hesitated for a few moments before agreeing, telling him that they would be at the airport in 30 minutes and to wait for them there.

When they arrived at the airport, Aahan took hold of Srishti's hand as they searched for Harsh. Finally, they found him, and Harsh rushed towards Srishti, enveloping her in a tight embrace. Aahan held her other hand, gripping it tighter as he watched the two of them. Srishti patted Harsh's shoulder, and he released her with a smile.

"Ishu, i think that's the last hug and the first one for you. I'm going," he said, glancing at their interlaced hands before hugging Aahan next. "Man, I'm letting her go, so don't hurt her," he said with a smile, and Aahan nodded in understanding.

Srishti asked Harsh why he was going to the United States, to which he replied cryptically, "That's a surprise, you'll know about it in a few years. Don't forget to mention me in photos when you will need them in the future." he said last line with a playful wink and handed his camera to a friend standing nearby and asked him to take a picture of the three of them. After a few clicks, he was satisfied. "Now, Ishu, I'm going. Don't forget to send me your MD degree day photos," he said, hugging Srishti once more before extending his hand to Aahan to join them. Aahan accepted, a small smile on his face, and Harsh's eyes filled with tears while saying goodbye to his first love.

As Harsh started to walk towards the entry gate, he couldn't help but feel a slight pain in his heart. He couldn't forget his first and last love, but he was happy for her and for them. These tears were a reminder that he couldn't be selfish, that there was no place for him in Srishti's life anymore. All he wanted now was to pursue his dreams and to remember Srishti's smiling face as he did.

Watching Harsh walk away, Aahan had a painful smile on his face. He could see the love Harsh had for Srishti in his eyes, but he wasn't jealous. Instead, he felt a sense of sadness, not out of sympathy, but because he knew how hard it was for Harsh. All he could do was hope that Harsh would find someone who could reciprocate his feelings.

Harsh knew it would be hard for him, but he also knew that he had to let Srishti go. As he boarded his plane, he closed his eyes and prayed that one day, he would be able to start over with a new beginning, one where Srishti's smile would still be a constant memory, but where he could finally let go of the love that he held onto for so long.

Aahan held Srishti close, lost in thought as he contemplated the journey that had brought them to this moment. Fate had played a hand in their story, bringing them together when they may have never crossed paths otherwise. It was four years ago that they had met, both wandering through life with no clear direction or purpose.

But something about their chance encounter had sparked a flame within them both, drawing them towards each other like moths to a flame. And as they stand here now, gazing into each other's eyes, they realize that they were always meant to be together.

They faced challenges and obstacles along the way, but they never gave up on each other. They found solace and comfort in each other's arms, and their love only grew stronger with each passing day.

"Aahan, I can't believe how far we've come," Srishti whispered, her voice barely above a breath.

"Neither can I," Aahan replied, pulling her even closer. "But we made it here, together. And that's all that matters."

They stand there for a few moments, lost in each other's embrace, basking in the warmth of their love. They both know that their journey is far from over and that there will be new challenges and obstacles that they will face together. But they are ready because they know that they have each other.

And as they look ahead, into an uncertain future, they do so with a sense of hope and optimism, knowing that as long as they have each other, they can conquer anything that comes their way.

after coming home and thinking about their life the circumstances and the plans which was someone making for them. As they lay in each other's arms, exhausted yet content, Aahan and Srishti knew that they had found something special in each other. They had come a long way from being strangers to falling in love, and they couldn't wait to see where their journey together would take them. With a smile on their faces, they closed their eyes and drifted off to sleep, cherishing every moment of this beautiful, unpredictable life. Yeh lamha, this moment, was all they needed to know that they were exactly where they were meant to be.

hey lovelies

As we reach the end of our tale, I want to give a big shoutout to all you wonderful readers out there. Thank you for sticking with us through the ups and downs, the twists and turns, and the occasional bad joke. Without you, our story would just be words on a page, and that's about as exciting as watching paint dry. So, thank you for giving our characters a reason to exist, and for making our job a whole lot more fun. You guys rock!

Looking back on this roller coaster ride, I must admit that even I didn't anticipate the twists and turns that Srishti and Aahan's story would take. At first, I simply wanted to convey the idea of love at first sight and the magic it can create. I considered introducing a villain or making the gang who attacked Aahan the main antagonist, but I ultimately realized that a solid villain was necessary. I briefly toyed with the idea of making the villain a one-sided lover, but I soon realized that one-sided love is a beautiful experience in its own right (and, let's be honest, your author has experienced it herself!). Sneha's character was added at the last moment, but I believe she played an integral role in bringing the story to its satisfying conclusion.

All I knew from the beginning was that I wanted to create a suspenseful story that kept readers on the edge of their seats, and I believe I accomplished that goal. I apologize for any grammatical errors or moments of childish writing that may have slipped in, but I hope the story's emotional highs and lows more than made up for it.

And lastly, I must confess that Aahan's character was inspired by my own personality in many ways. It was an absolute pleasure to bring his story to life, and I thank you for joining me on this journey.
