Chapter 1107 Romantic music wafted through the air. Everyone stopped chatting and tumed their attention to Johnstanding in front of the red carpet.

The door at the other end slowly opened, revealing Matthew and Shannon.

Everyone saw the father and daughter clearly, including Sherry who was in the corner.

Shannon smiled sweetly as she curled her hands around Matthew's arms.

Matthew walked her down the aisle with a heavy expression as if he was unwilling to give his daughter away.

They walked over to John

The emcee, who was also the marriage officiant, then said into the microphon

Fowler, please hand the bride over to the groom.” Matthew's eyes got teary at that juncture

He patted Shannon's head, whispered something in her ears, and made her tear up as well

He then put her hands onto John’s hands and said something to him as well

Sherry was too far away to hear what Matthew said to John, but his teary eyes stated thathe was having a hard time giving his

daughter's hand away.

He had probably told John to take good care of Shannon or something like that.

He then held Shannon's hand and walked forward to the stage, leaving Matthew wiping his tears alone.

Sherry rolled her eyes at the man and then emotionlessly watched the couple walk up the stage.

The spotlight shone on them.

Sherry could hear the female guests voicing their admiration for John and the married ladies expressing how awestruck they

were about hisyouth and wealth.

Many of them were jealous of Shannon for marrying the richest man in Glenchester, which would make her the richest woman in

the city.

The ceremony was like any other.

After the marriage officiant guided them to read their vows, the crowd witnessed the exchange of the wedding rings and

instructed thegroom to kiss the bride in the end.

Thundering applause broke out at the end of the simple ceremony.

Sherry rubbed her eyes, which somehow felt tired, and turned around.

Before she could walk out of the door, however, the bodyguard stopped her.

"Ms, Fowler, the wedding isn't over.

You can't leave." "Can't you see that they've come down from the stage?".

"The ceremony is over, but there's still the banquet.

Sherry clenched her fists.

Right before she could launch a punch in his face, Mason came over.

"Sherry? Who is this guy? What is he talking about?"

"Some goon," Sherry said angrily and then retumnedto the crowd.

Mason frowned as he glanced at the bodyguard before he followed Sherry into the throng ofpeople

The banquet was held on the second floor.

Each table was labeled accordingly for families, relatives, and friends

All the guests seated themselves according to their relationship with the bride and groom.

When Sherry and Mason arrived at the banquet hall, two waiters came over to serve them.

“Excuse me, miss, which side are you from? The groom or the bride?"

"Im just a friendof the Stocktons." The bodyguard , who had followed her up, then added,” She's Sherry Fowler, the bride's sister." Sherry glared at the bodyguard who

emotionlessly lowered his head.

The other waiter asked, "What about you, sir?" Mason glanced at Sherry.
