Chapter 1180
Love After Marriage: Mr. Lancaster's Hidden Wife
Chapter 1180 After a few seconds, a loud burst of laughter ripped through the silence.
Sherry was the one who was roaring with laughter.
John seemed to take a second to process what had just happened to him, before he winced ominously and stared at her.
Sherry quickly restrained her laughter and continued to nibble on the drumstick as if nothing had happened.
One could tell by her expression that she was very amused by what had just happened.
John took a clean white handkerchief out of his pocket and wiped his face with it. Then, he simply tossed it into a trashcan next
to the bed.
He looked at Sherry who was still eating and pretending as if nothing had happened and smirked, âEat slowly, donât choke.â
Sherry flashed a smile, âDonât worry, you're more likely to choke to death before | do.â
John did not respond to this and only continued to stare at her gloomily.
Sherry gobbled up the drumstick very quickly until it was
nothing but bones. Then she tossed it into the air. The bone glided in the air in a rainbow arc before landing straight into the trash
can. She glanced at the tray and noticed that there were more pieces of chicken and even a piece of cake. She gestured at the
tray with her greasy hands and beckoned, âGive me one more drumstick.â
John sat motionlessly with a haughty air around him.
Sherry jerked her lips and mimicked the way he smiled. Then, she slowly approached him and crossed her greasy hands in front
of her chest the same way John was doing. She slowly drew closer to him as if she wanted to touch his clean, white clothes.
âDonât you dare touch me with your dirty hands. I'll throw away all this food if you do.â As he said this, he reached for the tray.
Sherry quickly yielded and drew her hands away.
When she jerked her hands back, she accidentally lost her balance, the cushiony texture of the mattress did not help her regain
her balance either and made her topple forward and crash right into John.
Thump! She fell directly on top of John with her face pressed against his and their chests touching.
John had not expected anything like this, so his entire
weight was flung backward as he crashed onto the bed. He had one of his arms wrapped around her while the other hand did
not have time to retract and hit the tray, sending the entire tray crashing and clattering to the floor.
Bang!
The tray crashed against the floor and splattered its contents everywhere instantly. Suddenly, a complete silence descended
upon the room.
Sherryâs pupils dilated when she looked at the man mere inches away from her and quickly hopped backward, bouncing away
from the bed like a spring bouncing off a surface.
Immediately after jumping out of the bed, she scrambled to the floor and tried to pick up bits of food off the floor.
John was startled upon seeing this reaction.
He sat up with a tight frown and mentioned, âDonât pick those up.â
Sherry ignored him. Instead of stopping, she began to pick up crumbs of cake and stuffed them into her mouth, completely
disregarding any standards of hygiene.
John was wordless.
He suddenly snapped in an icy voice with his face wrenched in anger, âI told you to stop. Didnât you hear
me?»
Sherry was startled by such a sudden outburst and fumbled a piece of drumstick that she had just picked up off the ground.
She swallowed the crumbs of cake she had already stuffed into her mouth and glared at him, âWhat are you shouting at me for!â
John sighed, a dark feeling of gloom still hanging over his face, âStop picking those things up. Just stop it right now.â
Sherry refused to obey him. She was going to starve to death if she did not eat, the drumstick that she had just eaten had barely
filled her stomach.
She continued to pick crumbs up off the floor and even reached for a piece of rib a short distance away from her.
Just when it seemed like she was about to bring the piece of rib into her mouth, a large hand came out of nowhere and grabbed
her by the wrist.
John flung the piece of rib away.
She frowned and defiantly confronted his sharp, piercing gaze.
She was taken aback by the ferocity in his eyes. Suddenly, she felt herself being lifted off the ground.
