Chapter 1227
Love After Marriage: Mr. Lancaster's Hidden Wife
Chapter 1227 Sylviaâs worry lingered, so she stayed by Madam Carter's bed and listened to the old lady reminisce about the
past. Her memories about Odellâs childhood remained vivid as though it happened yesterday. She went on until she got tired and
fell asleep.
Sylvia finally got up and walked out of the room.
It was then that the man entered the living room in his handsome suit.
He looked rather nervous when he saw Sylvia come out of Madam Carter's room. He went up to her and asked,â Howâs
Grandmother?â
Sylvia smiled. âSheâs fine. Sheâs asleep.â
His nervous expression was laid to rest.
Sylvia looked at him with crystal clear eyes.
He soon noticed her unusual gaze. He patted her and asked, âWhy are you looking at me like that?â
âGrandmother talked a lot about your childhood.â Odell squinted. âWhat did she say?â Sylvia took a step forward, shortening the
distance between her and Odell. She was a finger away from going into his embrace. She whispered, âShe said when you
were five, you were on the bed and youââ
Before she could finish the sentence, he hugged her into his chest tightly.
âGrandmother said it, not me!â she anxiously explained.
Odell lowered his head and moved his handsome face closer to her. His lips curled. âWhat else did she say about
me?â
His whisper sounded dangerous.
Sylviaâs gaze shrunk. âT-that's it. Nothing else!â âReally?â
âReally!â
âDidn't you just say Grandmother talked a lot about my childhood?â He emphasized âa lotâ.
Sylviaâs eyes flickered. âYou must have heard it wrongly. | didn't say...â
âReally?â
âYeahâHey! What are you doing? Put me down!â
Odell lifted her by the waist and went upstairs.
Meanwhile, Aunt Tonya was taking care of Flint. She immediately got up and made way for the couple; Sebastian did the same.
Embarrassed, Sylvia covered her blushing face.
The man chuckled. He kicked the door to his room open and put Sylvia on the bed. His towering figure then collapsed onto her.
He pried her hands away from her face, revealing her blushing cheeks.
Annoyed, Sylvia grumbled, âShouldn't you go back to work?â
âThereââs nothing urgent. I'll go in the afternoon.â He kissed her lips. âTell me, what else did Grandmother say about me?â
The kiss gave Sylvia goosebumps. She put her hands on his chest and softly scratched him. âDon't touch me. I'm warning you!â
Odell grabbed her hands and pinned them above her head. He stared into her eyes deeply and said, âWhy don't you warn me
after I'm done with you?â
Sylvia wanted to argue, but her lips were once again sealed by his forceful kiss.
Passionate loveâmaking went on for hours in the room.
When things finally settled , Sylvia was exhausted by all the vigorous movements. She lay feebly on the manâs broad chest.
Odell stroked her head. âTake a nap if you're tired.â
Sylvia wanted to close her eyes, but a sudden thought rushed into her mind. She turned and reached for her
phone by the side. She quickly pulled up Sherryâs number from the contact list.
