Chapter 1356
Love After Marriage: Mr. Lancaster's Hidden Wife
Chapter 1356
Ding!
Sylvia replied, âI go wherever my legs take me, and | will come back whenever | feel like it. It wonât work even if you give me
another hundred days.â
Odell choked on his reply. âYouâre abandoning the kids?â
âStop using the kids to threaten me. If you stop me from coming back, I'll tell Grandmother to throw you out of the house!â
Probably because his anger had taken over his sanity, he chuckled coldly and tapped on the screen furiously.
âSylvia, youâve gotten so audacious, haven't you? Have | been too lenient with you in the past few years?â
âHmph! Odell, | think it was | who has been too lenient with you. Do you really think Iâm afraid of you?â
Odell chuckled. âReally? If youâre not afraid of me, come back tomorrow! I'd like to find out how you are being lenient on me!â
âStop trying to provoke me! Iâm not an idiot like you! | donât want to go back. | like seeing you mad!â
Odell was silenced. His body was petrified for a few seconds before he continued tapping on the screen. â
Send me your address right now.â
âDon't even think about it.â
âDonât dare to send me your address? Are you afraid that | might come to you?â
âHmph! Iâm not afraid of you, you jerk!â
Odell clenched his teeth and tapped on the recording button. He bellowed, âAre you coming back or not!?â
The text failed to send. It seemed like Sylvia had blocked him, or rather, Aunt Tonyaâs number. His towering figure froze and his
expression turned frighteningly pale.
The woman blocked Aunt Tonyaâs number just because she refused to talk to him!
Did she hate him that much?!
Or had she forgotten that he was the husband and got carried away by the temptation of the outside world?
Awhile later, he pulled his own phone from his pocket and called Cliff. The call got through in an instant. He shouted, âFind her!â
Cliff was shocked by the sudden shout. Stunned, he quickly recovered his composure and asked in a small voice, âSir, find
who?â
Odellâs sight suddenly turned blurry. Dizziness assaulted his âmind again and fueled his anger. He pursed his lips and said coldly,
âSend some men to the airport and train
terminals. If you see Sylvia, donât let her into the city!â
Cliff said, âSir, did you have an argument with Mrs. Carter again?â
âCut the crap and do what | said!â
Cliff dared not talk back to his boss. He nodded and said, Yes, sir.â
He then glared at Ben, who was on duty at the gate.
Ben caught the ferocious glare and nervously stood straight with his chest up.
Odell shouted, âGet over here!â
Ben ran over and carefully asked, âSir, whatâs the matter?â
âArrange some men to stay guard at the street entrance. Starting from tomorrow, if any one of you sees Sylvia, stop her and do
not let her come near the house!â
Ben carefully stared at the raging monster and nodded. â Yes, sir.â He then turned around to carry out the order.
âWait!â
Ben turned around once more and asked, âYes, sir? What is it?â
Odell coldly said, âSend some men to Isabel and Liamâs school as well. Donât let her get near them!â
âYes, sir,â Ben answered meekly.
Odell grunted coldly before he returned to the house.
Aunt Tonya and Madam Carter stared at him. They pursed their lips in silence when they heard Odell shouting outside the door.
Odell put Aunt Tonyaâs phone on the tea table and then strode back to his room. His head was heavy, his feet were cold, and he
had a runny nose. He already felt better after a whole day of rest, but the anger suddenly made his cold worse.
