Chapter 1521
Love After Marriage: Mr. Lancaster's Hidden Wife
Chapter 1521
John looked at her. His expression turned serious as he said, âIâm sorry. It was a mistake.â
Sherry had no idea if the man was faking it, but listening to his words made her feel awkward.
Then, his handsome face moves closer to hers, causing her to instinctively lean back. The man pinched her chin and locked lips
with her several times.
Sherry was stunned. She might not be a narrow-minded person, but this public display of affection was a first, especially in front
of her friend, Sylvia.
Her face uncontrollably turned red.
When John finally released her, she glared at him.
âDonât be mad. I'll win it back for you.â He sounded like he was really trying to console her, especially when he stroked her cheek
gently while saying that.
Sherry pursed her lips and swallowed her scolding for him.
Soon, John put the three dice on the table again.
Odell said, âSmall.â
John lifted the dice cup.
One, two, five. Small.
It was Odellâs turn.
He smiled and said, âMaster Stockton, you'd better listen carefully this time.â
John curled his lips casually. âBring it on, Master Carter.â
Odell shook the cup with the dice several times before putting it on the table. His
smile widened. âMaster Stockton.â
John said, âSmall.â
Odell lifted the cup.
Three, six, six. Big.
Sherry was shocked. She glared at John again.
John sighed and pursed his lips. âI wonât make the same mistake again!â The guilt on
his face looked genuine.
Sherry frowned. She suspected that the man was faking it.
John moved closer to her face again, so she quickly covered her mouth with her hand. He smiled. âCome on, we have to accept
the punishment since we lost.â As he spoke, he grabbed her wrist gently.
Sherry rolled her eyes. She did not want to accept the punishment!
John pried her hand away from her mouth with force, causing Sherry to instinctively. lean back once more. He narrowed his eyes
as he moved his handsome face closer. He stuck his lips onto hers and kissed her.
Sitting opposite them, Odell was expressionless.
Sylvia felt a little embarrassed and covered her mouth with her hand.
After Sherry freed herself from John, she noticed Sherry chuckling behind her hand
Sherry blushed and glared at John who smiled. âDonât worry, | promise I'll win the next game.â
She was not worried! She was angry!
Sherry widened her eyes at him.
John then quickly turned away and grabbed the cup and the dice as if he did not notice the embarrassment and anger on her
face.
Sherry gulped.
As expected, Odell guessed correctly again, and it was Johnâs turn to guess the next
round.
Sherry widened her eyes nervously. She stared at the dice up in Odellâs hand and carefully listened to the rattling inside.
Pak!
Odell slammed the dice on the table. He looked at John and said, âMaster Stockton.â
Sherry cried, âBig!â
Odell looked at her, and then at John.
John smiled at Sherry. âAre you sure?â
Sherry immediately said, âI am certain! Itâs big!â She looked confident with her
answer.
John smiled and then looked at Odell. âWell then... Small!â
