Sherry asked, “Do you want to come with us?”

Queenie’s eyes gleamed, but she shook her head. “No thanks. | have something else to do today.”

“Okay.”

The car door opened and Sherry went in with Caprice; John followed. The silver MPV then drove off.

Madam Stockton then asked, “Queenie, what plans do you have for the day?”

“Nothing.”

“Then, why didn’t you follow them?” Madam Stockton complained. She wanted her daughter to keep an eye out for Caprice.

Queenie said, “They are going out as a family, so why do | have to follow them? | don’t want to be the third wheel.”

Madam Stockton got irritated. She glared at Queenie and grumbled, “If you don’t have any plans, I'll arrange a date for you with

the guy Aunt Doreen introduced. He came to Glenchester yesterday. I’ll contact them and you will meet him in the afternoon.”

Queenie frowned. “No. | don’t want to get married!”

Madam Stockton glared at her angrily. “You are not young anymore, and you are wasting your time at home doing nothing. What

else do you want to do if you don’t want to get married?”

“| don’t care! | don’t want to get married!”

Afraid that her mother would scold her, Queenie immediately fled.

Madam Stockton was infuriated. “You little rascal!” She grunted and then headed back to her own place.

After a while, two figures came out from behind the wall.

Julie looked in the direction that the silver MPV drove off. The jealousy in her eyes was brazen..

Her trusted servant, Mia, was beside her, and she noticed the sour look. A quick thought rushed into her mind and she said in a

small voice, “Madam, | overheard from Tanya that Ms. Fowler has never had sex with Master Stockton ever since she moved in.”

Julie’s expression changed. She asked, “How would Tanya know?”

“Tanya is in charge of cleaning the house. Although Master Stockton and Ms. Fowler bring Ms. Caprice into the room together at

night, their room is clean every morning. Even the bed sheets are untouched.”

The bed sheets were untouched?

Nothing must have happened!

Julie’s eyes gleamed, but another thought rushed into her mind and made her tighten her brows.

Since the man had married Sherry and was interested in her, why had they not done the deed? If he was not interested in her,

they would not have shared a room in the first place.

Julie pondered. She suddenly thought of Sherry trying to escape from John’s grasp a few years ago.

She also heard that John found Sherry in Westchester and wanted to bring her back,

but she had rather abandon Caprice than return here.

Could it be that Sherry did not let him touch her? But she was already his wife. It did not make sense. Maybe she agreed to

marry John because of Caprice.

Julie’s eyes flickered. She asked Mia, “How’s the progress of the collaboration between the Sagers and the Stocktons?

Mia said, “The contract signing is next.”

Contract signing?

Sherry was an important figure at the Sagers and possessed a certain level of authority. Once the contract was signed, would

she have to go back to Coastrock?

Would she take Caprice away then?

Julie scoffed. “Sherry, so that’s what you are gunning for.”

in the theme park.

Caprice happily looked around as soon as they arrived and John carried her out of the car.
