Chapter 1674
Love After Marriage: Mr. Lancaster's Hidden Wife
Chapter 1674
Jason also got into the elevator, and the door shut after he went in.
John said, âIt's because Daddy did something that made Mommy mad.â
Capriceâs expression turned serious. âWhat did you do?â
John furrowed his brows and lowered his voice, âA lot. | did a lot to hurt Mommy.â
Caprice pouted. âWhy did you hurt Mommy?â Her tiny hands wrapped around his neck, and she leaned against his chest. She
pouted and glared at him angrily.
John choked up for a moment. He regained his voice after a while and said, âI didnât do it on purpose, but | did hurt her.â
âHmph!â Caprice pouted angrily and looked away.
John was left speechless, and he pursed his lips helplessly. He then said to the girl, â Caprice, | know what I did wrong, and I'll
try my best to get Mommy back. But-â
âBut what?â The girl looked at him with a skeptical gaze.
âBut | may need your help,â John said with a smile.
If it was not for Caprice, he might not even see Sherry in person.
Caprice widened her eyes as soon as she heard her father asking her for help. âWhat can | do to help?â
Looking at the girlâs adorable and enthusiastic expression, John curled his lips. âCaprice, you donât have to do anything now. You
just need to tell Mommy you miss her when you see her and tell her you donât want to leave her.â
As long as Sherry cared about Caprice, she would not be able to leave John.
The two men stood outside the elevator. One of them was on watch while the other was making a call.
âSir, we just saw the girl coming out from Ms. Fowlerâs room, and she was taken away by the man. We also heard the girl calling
the man âDaddyâ and Ms. Fowler âMommyâ.
Sherry changed into some fresh new clothes and went out. She planned to head to Lisaâs place by car, so she headed to the
parking lot by the garden.
However, when she took her car keys out, an adorable voice sounded behind her. âMommy
Sherry turned around.
Asilver MPV stopped by her side with Caprice and John inside.
The rear window was wound down, and the girl popped half of her body out. Her hands were stretched out as she tried to hand
Sherry a bag of steaming breakfast.
She said, âMommy, Daddy bought breakfast for you. Eat it while itâs hot, then you can go to work!â
This was probably the most words she had ever spoken in a single sentence. The man was probably the one who taught her
that.
Sherry refused to have the breakfast bought by the man, but the girlâs plump cheeks were too adorable to resist, and she
sounded super cute too. She did not have the heart to reject the girl, so she accepted the breakfast from her.
âThank you, Caprice. I'll go find you when Iâm done with work.â
Caprice smiled brightly. âOkay. Caprice will wait for you.â
Sherry smiled at the girl. âOkay, Mommy is off to work.â
âMm-hmm!â The girl hummed adorably.
With a bright smile hanging on her face, Sherry entered the car with the breakfast. The car engine roared to life. Within a few
steers, she was out of the apartment parking lot.
She was caught in terrible traffic while on the way to Lisaâs place. She then had a glance at the breakfast on the passenger seat.
It was a tuna sandwich and a cup of hot latte, which were her favorites.
