Chapter 1797
Love After Marriage: Mr. Lancaster's Hidden Wife
Chapter 1797
Before her kick could land, he caught her leg with his large hand. The warmth from the tip of his fingers burned her ankle as he
caressed her.
Sherry blushed. âGet your hand off my leg!â
John released her ankle as told, but then he grabbed her calf next. His naughty fingers started to dance on her sensitive calf
softly. The touching slowly turned into rubbing and with the right amount of strength, it felt comfortable.
Sherryâs eyes flickered.
John looked at her and noticed her lifted mood. âHow does it feel?â
Sherry turned away shyly. âItâs okay.â
He smiled and continued to massage her calf.
Seconds turned into minutes as the massage went on. Sherry originally wanted to tell him to stop if he was tired, but his
massage was too good to stop.
After a while, she fell asleep without knowing it.
John then stopped. Looking at her blushing face, the man smiled. He laid her body straight so that she could sleep more
comfortably.
He then got out of bed, picked up some loose pajamas, and went out of the room.
Caprice was sleeping soundly on the folding bed outside the room. John carried the girl into the room and put her beside Sherry.
With the lamp switched off, he laid down beside Sherry and closed his eyes.
After a dreamless night, Sherry opened her eyes the next morning and saw John next to her, looking at her.
He smiled enchantingly. âMorning.â
Sherry was awe-struck.
He was wearing a ladyâs pajamas that did not fit his physique, but it did not affect his handsome looks and elegance. She quickly
regained her composure and consciousness and realized that she had fallen asleep last night while he was massaging her.
Realizing that she did not carry Caprice in last night, she bolted up nervously.
Then, she saw Caprice still sleeping soundly next to her. She sighed a breath of relief and stroked her head.
It was then that the doorbell rang.
Sherry wanted to go answer the door, but John beat her to it.
âIt must be Jason,â he said.
He headed out to the door.
She got out of bed and followed him out.
When she walked out of her room, John had already opened the door. It was Jason with a big suitcase. Sir, the things you
requested are here.â
âOkay. Did you bring the document | left on the couch?â John asked after a quick glance at his luggage.
Jasonâs eyes widened out of shock. âSorry, sir! | forgot about it! I'll bring it here right away!â
âGo.â He sounded calm without any hint of anger or upset.
Jason glanced at the female pajamas that he wore before he left with a sigh of relief.
John then brought his luggage in. He looked at Sherry in the room and smiled. âI've ordered breakfast. It should be here in ten
minutes.â
Amomentary pause later, he added, âAunt Wanda will be here to take care of Caprice later. You donât need to worry. Go wash
your face and prepare for breakfast.â
Judging from his tone, he seemed to be moving in for good. With him and Aunt Wanda around, she did not have to worry about
Caprice at all.
She hummed a reply and went to the bathroom.
After she brushed her teeth and washed her face, she came out and saw him sitting on the couch in her
pajamas.
âI'm done. You can go now.â
He hummed and nodded.
As he got up and headed to the bathroom, the doorbell rang again. Sherry was close to the door, so she answered it and saw
Jason.
Jason was holding a set of documents. He smiled at her and said, âMadam, Iâm here to deliver the documents to Master
Stockton.â
Sherry was slightly surprised.
The man who had just entered the room was aware of Jasonâs arrival as well. His eyes flickered nervously before he turned
around, but it was too late.
