Chapter 1805
Love After Marriage: Mr. Lancaster's Hidden Wife
Chapter 1805
Carl replied, âAlright, Iâll remember that!â
Sherry smiled. She put her phone away.
Last time, she might have nagged him a little more, but he was no longer the playboy.
Carl would only become more and more mature and reliable, and Sherry believed the company would excel under his
leadership.
âYou look happy. Who are you chatting with?â The manâs rich voice suddenly sounded.
Sherry regained her composure. Just when she was about to say it was Carl, she was surprised by what surrounded John. His
feet and legs were covered in rose petals.
Caprice was sitting on his lap, plucking the petals from the roses that Carl had given Sherry and throwing them around.
Sherry furrowed her brows at John.
John helplessly smiled. âCaprice did it.â In other words, he did not help her or instigate her to pluck the petals.
Sherry sighed exasperatedly.
Caprice was her baby, after all, so there was no way she could be mad at her.
Besides, the fresh roses would wither in a day or two, and she would have to throw them away as well. She might as well let the
girl have some fun. Sherry was not overly bothered.
It was then that Caprice raised her little hands and tossed the petals into the air. The dancing petals landed on her, John, and
even Sherry.
The girl was unaware of her mother looking at her. She widened her grin and said to her father, âDaddy, Iâve plucked all the
petals!â
John was rendered speechless.
Sherry frowned and glared at him.
It got awkward momentarily.
John then patted Capriceâs head and said, âGood girl. Let Mommy see what you did.â
Caprice turned around to her mother and showed off her masterpiece. âMommy, look at me! Iâve plucked all the petals!â
All that was left in the bouquet of roses were thorny stems. Not even the daisy made it out alive.
The girl was ruthless with the plucking. In fact, she did not even feel guilty about destroying the flowers. She looked pleased as if
she was waiting for her mother to praise her actions.
However, it really seemed like John did not instruct her to destroy the flowers.
Sherry took a few petals from the girlâs head and chuckled. âGood girl.â
âHehe.â
Caprice widened her smile, showing off her tiny teeth.
John pursed his lips. A hint of delight flashed behind his glasses as if his scheme had succeeded.
They could not bring the flowers back now. As for the necklace, it was quite expensive to throw away, so it was kept
Two hours later, the plane landed at Glenchester Airport.
Looking at the familiar surroundings, Sherryâs chest tightened. The mixed feelings in her left her speechless The last time she
left, she had sworn to never come back; a year later, she was back with John and Caprice.
Then, a strong and warm hand held her hand.
Sherry turned around.
John smiled warmly at her. âLetâs go.â
The hatch was opened, and people started to leave the aircraft.
Sherry adjusted her emotions and nodded. She got up and wanted to carry Caprice in her arms.
However, John beat her to it. He carried the girl with one hand while holding Sherryâs hand with the other.
