Moses smiled politely. He stepped forward and extended his hand toward Trey. “Nice to meet you.”

Trey squinted suspiciously.

After a moment, Caprice went up to him and clapped him on the back. It was only then that he shook hands with Moses while

greeting him perfunctorily, “Hello.”

Moses was slightly bothered by his complete indifference. He turned to Caprice. “Caprice, | have something to do, I'll be leaving

first.”

Caprice sent him off with a pleasant smile. “Alright, see you.”

With that, he left.

Trey immediately asked Caprice, “Caprice, what’s your deal with this Moses guy?”

Caprice answered, “We're just friends, that’s all.”

Freya and Piper joined the conversation. Freya remarked, “Moses has a thing for Caprice, but he hasn't confessed to Caprice

yet.”

Trey expressed sternly, “He looks too ambitious for his own good. You better keep your distance from him. Don’t be fooled by his

handsome looks, or else you'll regret it.”.

Caprice grimaced.

She was not even close with Moses in the first place. Besides, even if they were close friends, she would never pursue any kind

of romantic relationship with him.

Then again, Moses had been texting her nearly every day asking if she had time to get dinner with him. Unfortunately, he got

rejected every time since she was spending time with Freya.

Was he truly interested in her?

“Do you understand?” Trey asked solemnly.

Caprice appeased him. “I understand, | understand.”

He continued spewing some nonsensical relationship advice after that. Once he was done, they all went to a nearby shopping

mall to get dinner.

It turned out that he had come to Westchester with Piper on a certain mission.

He had to negotiate a deal concerning an upcoming project with VV Entertainment on behalf of their family’s company.

It was going to be a large-scale project so he was going to be in Westchester for a while. Since Piper had nothing to do at home,

she decided to come back to Westchester to spend time with Caprice and Freya.

After the meal, Trey brandished a VIP membership card in front of their faces. The words‘ Emerald V‘ was embellished on top of

it.

Caprice was taken by surprise. Was this the clubhouse Heather talked about?

Trey offered generously. “There’s always some interesting event going on at Emerald V every weekend. I’m going to meet my

friends tomorrow so why don’t you girls spend the weekend at Emerald V in my place?”

Freya was amazed. “The famous Emerald V? Wow, you have a VIP membership card to the clubhouse!”

Trey beamed with pride. “It’s one of the establishments of the company I’m going to be working with. They gifted this to me.”

Freya continued to stroke his ego. “Wow, that’s impressive.”

Trey was enjoying every moment of this. “Ha! You flatter me!”

Piper took the card.

Caprice frowned.

Trey mentioned that he was going to be working with VV Entertainment and that Emerald V was an establishment directly under

VV Entertainment. Going by this rhetoric, would this imply that Heather was the successor of VV Entertainment?

“Caprice, what are you thinking about?” Piper noticed Caprice zoning out.

Caprice snapped back to her senses and blurted out, “Oh, nothing.”

Trey was looking forward to working with VV Entertainment, so she decided to not kill the mood by bringing up Heather.

After dinner, Trey sent them back to the dormitory before going on his way.

Caprice, Piper, and Freya dashed up the stairs.

It had been half a month since they last met. They chattered about everything they could.

Freya told Piper about everything that had been going on lately. She brought up their visit to Carter Tech City and emphasized

the part about what Heather did to them.

Piper was furious. She hurled a bunch of insults at Heather to soothe her rage.

After that, they talked about their visit to Emerald V tomorrow.

They asked for Caprice’s opinion, “Caprice, should we go first thing in the morning or wait until the evening?”

Caprice remarked briskly, “You girls have fun, I’m not going.”

She did not want to meet Heather.
