Not a single person uttered a sound, save for Isabella who was groaning and gasping from the pain with her hands clutching her

stomach region.

Then, she gritted her teeth through the pain to look up at Isabel. She had nothing but hate in her eyes, and it was evident that

she was going to tear Isabel apart.

She shouted in a shrill voice, "Isabel, just wait! | will not let you get away with this. | will ruin your career and get you kicked out of

the entertainment industry!"

Isabel smiled sarcastically. "And how do you plan to get me kicked out of the entertainment industry? Using your cheap and dirty

tricks?"

Isabella flinched upon hearing this. Hate gleamed in her eyes again as she hissed through clenched teeth, "I have pictures and

videos of you with your boyfriend!"

Isabel was briefly taken aback but kept her wits about her." And how is releasing footage of my love life supposed to ruin my

reputation?"

Isabella frowned, her gaze turning sinister. "What do you think will happen if | leak these videos to the media outlets?”

There was a chance that she could compose a distorted narrative after spreading those pictures and videos across the internet.

It may or may not cause some controversy.

One way or another, it was sure to affect her relationship with Roland.

Isabel's eyes sharpened, and she responded with a similar threat, "Isabella, if you dare to release that footage, | will tell

everyone about you and Decker!"

Isabella laughed, "Ha! You don’t have any proof of us being together. Who is going to believe you even if you do tell?"

Isabel took an aggressive step toward her and looked down at her condescendingly. "What? Hasn't Decker told you about his

fiancee? His fiancee is the daughter of the Houstons in Southboro, but you wouldn't know that, would you?"

The smile on Isabella's face disappeared instantly.

Isabel continued with a mocking scoff, "What do you think is going to happen once his fiancee finds out about you getting

involved with him? Do you think she will come for you? Do you think she will dump him right away?”

If the Houstons exercised their influence, they were sure to end Isabella's career with no chance of her ever coming back.

Furthermore, if the Houstons called off the engagement, Decker would lose significant backing, and his standing in Southboro

would be completely crippled. At that point, he would scarcely have the mood to keep Isabella around anymore, and he would

dump her in a heartbeat to try to win back the Houstons.

Either way, it was not going to end well for Isabella.

For all her flaws, Isabella was a smart person, so she should be aware of the implications as well. Her immediate expression

upon hearing this was proof enough that she understood.

She stood up still clutching her stomach, still maintaining the glare at Isabel even though the sharpness in her eyes was dull and

blunted now. She threatened unconvincingly, " I’m still not going to let you get away with this!"

She ran off after that.

Isabel cocked an eyebrow and turned back to Carla. "Are you okay?"

Carla smiled reassuringly. "I'm fine."

Isabel smiled at Triss and Ramona and waved them on. "Get ready to get on the runway. I'll go get changed."

Triss and Ramona had yet to recover from the shock of witnessing the melodramatic events back there. They were suddenly

snapped back to reality and murmured at the same time, "Okay."

Isabel took Carla to the dressing area.

Meanwhile, Triss and Ramona proceeded toward the line toward the stage.

One thing that was clear was that everyone's mind was no longer on the fashion show. From the ones who were about to step on

the runway to the ones who had already finished their walk on the runway, they were all thinking about the same thing.

They continued staring in the direction where Isabella and Isabel went off in and slowly reeled themselves back to reality.

Someone whispered, "What happened? Why did they start fighting?"

Someone remarked, "Isabella must have done something to Isabel's dress, which led to Isabel getting revenge by stepping on

her dress. Isabella probably couldn't bear the humiliation and decided to resort to violence only to end up getting kicked hard. Oh

my, Isabel is just so cool, it's unbelievable. | think I'm in love.”

She refused to take disrespect from anyone and had zero hesitation in exacting revenge right away. She never cared what

people thought of her.

Some people were skeptical. "How are you so sure that it was Isabella who tampered with the dress?"

‘The dress she's wearing is made by arguably the best fashion house in town. How could it possibly have been torn before she

stepped on stage? Someone must have tampered with it. Besides, you can tell based on Isabella's reaction when her dress was

stepped on. It looked like even she knew she had it coming. Instead of being surprised, she went straight to charging at Isabel.

She has to be guilty to have done that."
