Odell looked at Aunt Tonya coldly.

Upstairs, Odell led Tara to the study.

He led her to a chair where she could sit before taking out an ointment that could reduce swelling from

the first aid kit and applied it evenly to her face. Tara raised her head and looked at him with watery eyes.

After applying the ointment, he put it back into the first aid kit and asked, “Does it still hurt?” Looking

touched, she said, “No. It doesn’t hurt at all.” Odell pursed his lips. “If it doesn’t hurt, then you may go

outside. I still have some things to take care of.” Tara instantly looked disappointed but hummed in reply.

When she stood up, she suddenly thought of something and said, “Odell, Aunt Tonya watched

Sylvia grow up. Although Sylvia isn’t around anymore, Aunt Tonya probably doesn’t want anyone to take

her place, so I can understand why she hates me. However, Isabel and Liam like her, so please don’t be

angry with her.”

Odell suddenly remembered Aunt Tonya’s arrogant appearance as she scolded Tara downstairs.

she walked out of the living room into the yard.

Aunt Tonya was trimming the flowers and plants in the garden and instantly glared at Tara when she saw

her.

Tara maintained her smile as she walked up to her. Then, her expression suddenly changed as she

looked at Aunt Tonya contemptuously. “You’re right, Aunt Tonya. When I become the mistress of this

place, the first thing I’ll do is kick you out, you old b*tch.”
