Chapter 504
Love After Marriage: Mr. Lancaster's Hidden Wife
Chapter 504
Odellâs expression turned cold. âMove!â
âDonât be angry. Iâm just joking with you.â Edmund chuckled and continued, âI just want a few words with
you, can I?â
Odell narrowed his eyes. âWhat is it?â
âI want to talk about Tara with you. I believe you havenât heard of her past before you met her,
right?â
Odell frowned.
Sherryâs car already disappeared beyond the traffic. Odell went silent for two seconds before he wound
down the window. Edmund went to the driverâs side and leaned on the car. âIâll be frank with you. I was
able to get to know Syl because Tara introduced her to me.â He then pulled his phone out and showed
Odell the chat history he had with Tara. The entire chat history was revealed to Odell before his eyes.
âMr. Price, Happy New Year! I heard youâve been single for a while now. Havenât you met someone nice?
I know someone and I believe sheâs your type. Do you want to meet her?â Edmund asked her for some
pictures. Tara then sent several pictures of Sylvia to him.
The chat happened on last yearâs New Yearâs eve, and back then, Odell still had not confirmed his
feelings for Sylvia and had not remarried her.
He clearly remembered that Sylvia was not at home to spend New yearâs eve with the kids. He got angry
and called her but it was a waitress at Lush Heaven who picked up the phone. He then learned that
Sylvia was drunk.
When he arrived at Lush Heaven, he saw Sylvia in Edmundâs room.
He was under the impression that Edmund made her drunk and tried to do something to her, but now he
realized it was all part of Taraâs plan.
Edmund noticed the grim expression and then said with a smile, âMaster Carter, right after Tara sent me
the pictures, my lackeys saw Sylvia outside our room. Do you think itâs a coincidence?â
Odell pursed his lips coldly.
Edmund knew the man before him was smart. He continued, âTara mustâve noticed your feelings for
Sylvia, so she played the matchmaker and tried to erase your thoughts for Sylvia.â It was unfortunate that
things did not go his way. The harder he chased Sylvia, the stronger she rejected him.
In the end, Sylvia remarried Odell, and Tara would be the first to disagree. It was her grievance that
caused the series of tragedies that followed. Edmund sighed. âIf I know sheâs the one who hooked up
with my lackey and made him bankrupt, I shouldâve ended her back then.â
âWhat did you say?â Odellâs gaze shifted.
âOh, I forgot about this part.â Edmund continued smiling. âBefore Tara met you, sheâs already a woman
with methods. I remember when I was still active in the gang, she always showed herself before me but
sheâs not my type, so I never really cared about her.
âShe hooked up with one of my lackeys who was quickly on the rise. I have no idea what kind of spells
she cast on him but he bought her this and that, and even gave her everything. She was still not satisfied
and eventually hooked up with other men. âI ran some checks on her for my lackey and guess what I
found out?â He raised a brow at Odell.
Odell stared at him coldly. âWhat?â Edmund skipped to the chase. âOther than my lackey, she was seeing
three other men.â Odellâs deep gaze showed a sense of shock.
