Chapter 603
Love After Marriage: Mr. Lancaster's Hidden Wife
Chapter 603
Sylviaâs eyebrows furrowed in pain. However, when she saw his expression which looked as if he wanted to kill her, she
suddenly felt satisfied. Even though her face hurt from his pinching, the corners of her mouth curled into a smile. âWhat did you
do with him last night?â he asked.
It was as if he would kill her immediately if she said she did something with Thomas.
However, Sylvia did not have the slightest fear. She met his gloomy gaze and smiled back at him. âWe did everything you could
imagine and more.â Then, the stinging pain of the bones in her face about to be crushed spread throughout her
body.
Sylvia tightly wrinkled her brows, but her mouth was still curled in a smile. Odellâs face was horribly gloomy. He looked at her for
a long time before saying, âWow. Just
great!â
Then, he let go of her face, turned around, and walked outside.
His tall figure quickly disappeared from her sight. Sylvia touched her face which was swollen from his pinching and cursed at him
in her heart. She went back to her bedroom and washed her face with warm water. When the redness and swelling on her face
did not go away, she took out a spray for swelling from the medicine box and sprayed it. When her face was almost back to
normal, she quickly changed her clothes and went downstairs.
The living room was quiet. Isabel and Liam sat quietly beside Aunt Tonya, not moving at all.
Sylvia was puzzled and went over.
âWhat's wrong?â When the two little ones saw her, their expressions instantly changed.
âMommy!â Isabel jumped into her arms.
Liam also walked to her side.
Sylvia immediately wrapped her arms around them.
Aunt Tonya also looked a little scared and asked, âSyl, how did Odell come down from upstairs? When did he go up?â
Sylvia replied, âI donât know either.â âIt's strange. He came here once last night, but | remember that he left,â Aunt Tonya
muttered.
Seeing that the children and Aunt Tonyaâs expressions seemed off, Sylvia quickly asked, âDid he say anything when he came
down just now?â
âNo, but he looked particularly scary. He even ignored Isabel when she talked to him. The children got scared of him,â Aunt
Tonya replied. Sylvia remembered his face when he left and frowned. Isabel lifted her chubby face from Sylviaâs arms. âMommy,
did you have a fight with Baddie?â
Sylvia replied, âWe had a little argument, but it has nothing to do with you or Liam.â Isabel pouted. âThe baddieâs face was really
mean and scary just now.â
Sylvia stroked her head and said gently, âDonât be scared.â However, in her heart, she could not help but curse at him.
âThat jerk! Itâs fine if he wants to be angry, but how could he take it out on the children?â
âMommy, did Dad bully you just now?â Liam suddenly asked her. Sylviaâs heart warmed, and she quickly replied, âI'm fine. We
just argued a little. | wasnât bullied by him.â Although her face was pinched until it was swollen, the swelling had already gone
down, so it. was no big deal. Liamâs big eyes looked at her quietly for a few seconds before he was relieved. At that moment,
Isabel's little hand was still tightly wrapped around her. There were still traces of fear on her face. Sylvia rubbed her head and
said, âIsabel, | happen to be free today. Why donât | bring you and your brother out to play and eat delicious food?â The little girlâs
eyes lit up, and she said warmly, âOkay.â
Sylvia called Aunt Tonya, made the preparations, and took the two little ones out.
