Chapter 609
Love After Marriage: Mr. Lancaster's Hidden Wife
Chapter 609
Sylvia said with some embarrassment, âYou didnât need to go through the trouble. You can just take me to a place Odell canât
find. We'll stay in a hotel.â
âHe'll find the hotel with your personal information.â
She choked. That was true.
Thomas looked back at her and smiled. âI hardly come here, so the house is usually empty. If you guys live here, it'll be like
adding some warmth to the house. You'll be doing me a favor.â
He smiled as gently as the spring breeze.
Sylvia smiled back and said sincerely, âThank you, Thomas.â
âYou're welcome.â
Then, he got out of the car.
Sylvia carried the still-sleeping Isabel and got out of the car.
Aunt Tonya followed behind her, but before she got out of the car, she could not help but glance at Thomas a few times.
There was a housekeeper here named Theodore. He was in his fifties and looked very amiable.
Thomas greeted him.
Sylvia and Aunt Tonya carried the two children and entered the villa under Theodoreâs guidance.
The kitchen, dining room, and living room were on the first floor. There was also a bedroom facing the east, which was suitable
for Aunt Tonya to stay in.
After all, it was Thomasâ house, and Sylvia was only staying there temporarily. She planned to stay in a single bedroom on the
second floor with the children.
When Theodore heard her say this, he glanced toward Thomas.
Thomas pursed his lips and remained silent.
Thus, Theodore did not say anything either and simply asked, âMs. Ross, what kind of food do you and the children like to eat?
We can invite a professional chef to prepare it for you.â Sylvia replied with a smile, âThank you for the consideration, but we
usually cook ourselves, so thereâs no need to trouble you for that.â
Theodore glanced at Thomas again.
Thomas continued to remain silent.
Theodore said, âVery well, but this place is remote, and it's not convenient for you to go out shopping. Before you arrived, we
already had fresh meat and vegetables delivered here through special channels. The groceries in the future will be acquired the
same way, so thereâs no need for you to go out to buy ingredients yourself.â Sylvia smiled. âAll right. Thank you, Theodore.â
âAfter | get through this, I'll give back all the money spent here to Thomas. âEven if he doesnât lack money, | have to make him
accept it.â Theodore showed her around the house before going out. Thomas said, âGo and sleep first before having breakfast.â
Sylvia remembered that he drove for more than three hours and hurriedly said, âOkay. You should go and rest too.â
âMm.â
Sylvia and Aunt Tonya took the two children upstairs and came to a spacious bedroom.
The bedroom was neat and tidy, and the bedding was clean as well.
It smelled fresh, most likely because it was cleaned up frequently.
Sylvia put both Isabel and Liam on the bed and said to Aunt Tonya, âYou should go get some sleep.â
It was almost dawn.
However, Aunt Tonya was a bit refreshed. She asked with a smile, âSyl, Second Master Carter and you...â
Sylvia could see the gossip on her face.
She frowned and said, âAunt Tonya, heâs Odellâs brother. Donât think about nonsense.â
Aunt Tonyaâs face went cold at the mention of Odellâs name. âYou divorced him a long time ago. Are you planning to live the rest
of your life single after leaving him? Besides, | think that Second Master Carter is quite good. At least, he treats you very well.â
âOkay, Aunt Tonya. Hurry up and go to bed. Iâm not in the mood to think about that now.â She just wanted to hurry up and break it
off with Odell. As for Thomas, she knew that he was good to her, but she did not dare to think about anything else.
Aunt Tonya rubbed her eyes. âAll right. You also hurry up and rest.â
âMm.
She went out
Sylvia took off her shoes and coat and went to bed. She lay in between the two little ones, sniffing their milky scent, and soon fell
into a deep sleep.
