Sylvia said with some embarrassment, “You didn’t need to go through the trouble. You can just take me to a place Odell can’t

find. We'll stay in a hotel.”

“He'll find the hotel with your personal information.”

She choked. That was true.

Thomas looked back at her and smiled. “I hardly come here, so the house is usually empty. If you guys live here, it'll be like

adding some warmth to the house. You'll be doing me a favor.”

He smiled as gently as the spring breeze.

Sylvia smiled back and said sincerely, “Thank you, Thomas.”

“You're welcome.”

Then, he got out of the car.

Sylvia carried the still-sleeping Isabel and got out of the car.

Aunt Tonya followed behind her, but before she got out of the car, she could not help but glance at Thomas a few times.

There was a housekeeper here named Theodore. He was in his fifties and looked very amiable.

Thomas greeted him.

Sylvia and Aunt Tonya carried the two children and entered the villa under Theodore’s guidance.

The kitchen, dining room, and living room were on the first floor. There was also a bedroom facing the east, which was suitable

for Aunt Tonya to stay in.

After all, it was Thomas’ house, and Sylvia was only staying there temporarily. She planned to stay in a single bedroom on the

second floor with the children.

When Theodore heard her say this, he glanced toward Thomas.

Thus, Theodore did not say anything either and simply asked, “Ms. Ross, what kind of food do you and the children like to eat?

We can invite a professional chef to prepare it for you.” Sylvia replied with a smile, “Thank you for the consideration, but we

usually cook ourselves, so there’s no need to trouble you for that.”

Theodore glanced at Thomas again.

Thomas continued to remain silent.

Theodore said, “Very well, but this place is remote, and it's not convenient for you to go out shopping. Before you arrived, we

already had fresh meat and vegetables delivered here through special channels. The groceries in the future will be acquired the

same way, so there’s no need for you to go out to buy ingredients yourself.” Sylvia smiled. “All right. Thank you, Theodore.”

‘After | get through this, I'll give back all the money spent here to Thomas. ‘Even if he doesn’t lack money, | have to make him

accept it.’ Theodore showed her around the house before going out. Thomas said, “Go and sleep first before having breakfast.”

Sylvia remembered that he drove for more than three hours and hurriedly said, “Okay. You should go and rest too.”

Sylvia and Aunt Tonya took the two children upstairs and came to a spacious bedroom.

The bedroom was neat and tidy, and the bedding was clean as well.

Aunt Tonya’s face went cold at the mention of Odell’s name. “You divorced him a long time ago. Are you planning to live the rest

of your life single after leaving him? Besides, | think that Second Master Carter is quite good. At least, he treats you very well.”

off with Odell. As for Thomas, she knew that he was good to her, but she did not dare to think about anything else.
