She pursed her lips and remembered that the news article shared her opinion. Was she wrong? Odell pursed his lips. “The

shareholders who were taken away by the police were manipulated by him.”

The reason was clear. They had tampered with the funds of several of Carter Corporation’s major projects. If Odell had not been

prepared in advance, Carter Corporation would have been gone by now.
