It was already noon when lucious woke up, the first thing he did is to stretch his arms and yawn, he is about to sleep again when he realize something.

"It's noon already?!" He uttered.

Then why there's no one waking me up? The teachers should be here !

Thoughts are still occupying his mind when a voice was heard, it's one of his servants.

"Your majesty? Are you awake? "

"Uh .. yeah I am "

The door slowly opened and the servants slowly walked in while carrying his breakfast or lunch to be exact.

"Why didn't you wake me? Aren't teachers supposed to come?" lucious asked

"The emperor announced that you shall start your lesson after you wake up and he also reduced the lesson time you shall take everyday" The servant answered while preparing his lunch/breakfast in bed.

Lucious is a little bit surprised, what happened to his majesty and why is he doing these things to him?

maybe he wants to gain my favor? maybe he thinks that by gaining my favor I'll do whatever he wants?!

After eating and changing his clothes, a teacher really did came. They started their lessons about ethics on how to act as a proper empress but just after two hours the lesson ended.

"Do I have a next lesson after this?" Lucious asked.

"None your majesty, the next lesson is tomorrow. The emperor said that he will come and visit you later" and thus the teacher kneel bidding his farewell.

"why does he have to visit me everyday?! " Lucious said annoyingly.

well whatever! I can just scape- i mean take a walk now .. and because I'm slow I'll take till evening.

So Lucious changed  into his commoners clothes. He tied his hair up so that he can move freely and run if ever someone spotted him. After changing he slowly and simply look outside and seeing that the guards was doubled and became more alert is not a surprise.

Seeing that the guard is looking at him cautiously by just taking a peek on his window he knows he can't escape through his window which is not a problem anymore, He have a second plan.

Lucious smirks, he walks towards edel's glass cage is placed. He gently stretch his hands towards edel and the chameleon automatically walk on his hands and changing its color to Lucious skin tone.

"Like old times, we're gonna take our daily walk and nap" Lucious said while looking at his pet and kissing its head.

Placing edel on his shoulder he again walk towards his big closet, he looked at the door and window making sure that it is all closed. He again smiled and opened the big door of his closet, it is full of branded and luxurious clothes especially made of expensive fabrics. The clothes that are hanging was pushed by lucious revealing a hole with an enough size for his body frame to enter.  he make sure that he closes the closets door and finally crawl inside the hole and after exiting  a large bushes of plants greeted him.

He didn't immediately leave the bushes but instead he cautiously looked at his surrounding. After seeing that the soldiers are not looking he slowly and carefully crawl in between the bushes, slowly, gently and carefully until he finally reach the entrance to the forest where he could walk freely.

"Finally!"  Lucious thought.

And thus his adventure begins again.

"now, what should I do? should I go to the pond? " but after some time of thinking lucious decided not to go there because the emperor might look at him there first because he was just there yesterday, sleeping.

"The harem is a no too" After walking for a while, suddenly lucious stomach growl.

"The kitchen it is then!" and so he fasten his pace.

After some time of walking he finally reach his destination, he was just in the corner while looking secretly to the people who are working in the kitchen, they're all panicking and too busy to notice his presence. There are some leaving and and entering while carrying some things in their arms, meats, bread, vegetables and fruits there are also some cooked foods that made Lucious mouth water.

" Here's another dish, for the emperor's wedding! " A person who looks like one of the chef said. Lucious suddenly froze in his place.

" Master why are we already cooking dishes for his majesty's wedding ? when it is still far? " A kid maybe  one of the apprentice said.

"The emperor is checking the food that his soon to be empress would like to eat, It looks like he wants the best for his empress in order to gain his favor" The chef responded while starting to cook another dish.

"Does the future empress doesn't like our majesty?" he again asked.

" according to the rumors, maybe it is. Looks like our future empress have a strong personality " The chef answered back, the apprentice is again about to asked when a sound of hitting echoed.

" Stop asking questions and deliver this dish immediately! The emperor and the future empress will have a diner together! " The head chef shouted making the two  to comply immediately.

On the other hand Lucious already infiltrated the kitchen, currently he is under the table where delicious bread are placed. Slowly he extended his arms and get a piece of it which fortunately no one saw. He took a bite and placed it inside his clothes and again he extended his arm, feeling the table he looked for another's bread presence. As soon as he take a hold of it he slowly moved it towards his mouth but when he is just about to take a bite of it he suddenly realize that there is something wrong with it.

Its not a bread but a hand full of callus!

" There's a bread thieve under the table! " a shout echoed in the whole kitchen that made everyone stopped.

Lucious froze in his placed and paled.

"Get him!"

Lucious immediately run, but when he is about to reach the door a hand suddenly grabbed the back of his color which made him choke a little.

"you bastard! where do you think you're going?! " A guy shouted and so the other people also walked where he is being captive.

The people who works in the kitchen surrounded him while looking at him angrily.

"This is the imperial palace how can a commoner and dirty looking kid passed through those guards?"

" Immediately call the guards and report it "

" how are we gonna tell this to Mr. Lee? "

"The food will have to be thrown! he can't let the emperor eat the food that this beggar touches.!"

People keeps on talking, while Lucious does not feel any inch of fear or nervousness instead he was thinking deeply on how can he escape this situation.

should I push them and run? should I jump?

And so after some while of thinking Lucious suddenly stood up, The head chef is just about to retaliate when he said something.

"Is what I'm seeing right? " Lucious said dramatically while looking at the sky.

"what?"

"Everyone look! it is that creature! That big and strong creature that blows fire!" Lucious again shouted that made everyone looked to where he was looking.

"Is it a dragon?!"

"Where's the dragon?!"

"huh? a dragon?"

Lucious took this opportunity, he slowly walked back until he reach the outside of the circling people. He is just about to turn his back from them when suddenly they noticed that he is already missing.

"You deceiver! Everyone catch him!"

Lucious run immediately after hearing this, he doesn't care anymore about his directions he just run straight ahead while some people are chasing him, he keeps on looking at them that he didn't notice that there is a rock on his way. He lost his balance because of it, but it didn't completely made his body drop on the ground but instead it twisted his ankle.

"fuck!" Lucious blurted out because the sound of his cracking bones was completely heard that made his pace slow, he is still not recovering from it when again he didn't saw that the way he's running is towards the stairway.

Lucious gave up, he closed his eyes and waited for a hard ground to hit his body multiple times, but it didn't happened instead he heard a unison voice greeting a certain someone.

"Greetings to his majesty!"

Lucious opened his eyes slowly and a familiar face greeted him.

The emperor's face is delighted while looking at Lucious whose eyes are slowly closing now upon seeing his face.

I fell to the devil's arms

An angel fell onto my arms

The two unisonly thought.
