Thirty-Five (END)
Noticing You (BoyxBoy)
The sunset was beautiful. Sitting on his car, holding his boyfriend's hand, and watching the sunset made the moment just so much more surreal. And Jess, he looked stunning.
He always looked stunning but tonight Isaac could feel himself falling deeper and deeper in love with him. He was laughing and smiling freely the whole time. Then, he was relaxed next to Isaac while watching the sunset and everything about him was just do beautiful.
Once the sun had set and the pretty colors were starting to fade from the sky Jess finally turned to look at Isaac.
"We've gotta leave eventually." He spoke quietly.
"I know." Isaac hummed. "I just don't want tonight to end."
Jess smiled a little. "Yeah, I know. Me neither."
A thought appeared to Isaac and he leaned over to kiss Jess. He rolled over so he was looming over the boy and held himself up with one arm. When he pulled back he kept himself hovering over his boyfriend.
"Do you have to go home tonight?"
Jess let out a little huff that sounded suspiciously like a laugh. He looked up at Isaac with a steady smile and his hands reached up to cup his face. His thumbs rubbed back and forth against Isaac's face in a soothing manner.
"We have school tomorrow." Jess said.
Isaac smiled, keeping himself hopeful. "I know."
"We stayed together a couple days ago." He pointed out again.
"But it's never enough with you. I want you around all the time." He leaned down to kiss him again.
"Kissing me is not going to help convince me." Jess chuckled but his ears were red and his hands were still holding Isaac's face. Not to mention, he always kissed Isaac back.
"Please." He leaned down to plant another kiss on Jess's lips. "I sleep better when you're there."
Jess groaned. "Don't do that. You'll guilt me into it." Isaac smirked and kissed him again. "I think this is manipulation."
Isaac laughed loudly. He bent his face down to kiss Jess's jaw. "You don't have to, I won't be mad. However, I'd really love it if you stayed with me."
"Why? Hoping to get laid?" Jess wiggled his eyebrows.
Isaac laughed. "I wouldn't mind but it's not my end goal, no." When he spoke again his voice was softer. "I just like having you next to me."
Jess smiled softly too and this time he leaned up to connect their lips. "Fine. At this rate I'm going to be at your house more than I'm at mine."
"I'll have no complaints." Isaac smiled brightly.
"Mhm." Jess hummed. "I'm sure you won't."
Isaac leaned down to kiss him again. He just couldn't help himself. Jess was laying under him and looking up with a loving look in his eyes. He was smiling and his lips just looked so kissable and Isaac was just so in love he couldn't help it.
"We should go before you start getting too carried away." Jess smiled. "We're on your car in the middle of a public park, we shouldn't be making out here."
"But the park's empty." Isaac leaned down and kissed him. "And it's dark so no one will be around."
Jess grinned. "Stop trying to convince me."
Isaac chuckled and rolled off. "Okay."
He climbed off his car first and watched Jess follow him. Before they got in the car he leaned down and kissed his boyfriend one more time. He told himself it was the last time until they got home.
As they drove Isaac held Jess's hand. There was something about touching Jess or being close to him that was lightening. He loved the feeling.
When they pulled up to Zack's house Jess stepped out first and led the way inside. It was different but Isaac had to smile. Jess felt at home here, that's what this meant.
They took their shoes off at the door and made their way to Isaac's room.
"Do you need to shower?" Isaac looked over with a raised eyebrow.
Jess nodded. He didn't say anything else before sauntering over and opening the dresser drawers. He pulled out a pair of shorts before moving over to the closet and pulling out a hoodie. Isaac had to chuckle to himself because he just found it so adorable.
At the noise Jess turned to look at him. "What?"
"Nothing." Isaac softly shook his head. "You're just cute. I like how you're going through my clothes like they're your own."
Jess shrugged. "You said I could steal a hoodie whenever if I want one and you always let me borrow your other clothes."
"At this point, I don't think you borrow them. I never get them back unless you just wear them over here and leave them. Speaking of, some of your clothes are folded in the top drawer. Dad found them in the laundry."
Jess smiled at him. "I'll leave them here, I'm over here enough to do that. Also, what's yours is mine right? That's what a serious relationship is isn't it?"
Isaac laughed again. "You're just saying that because you like stealing my clothes."
"Maybe." Jess shot him a grin. "That's okay isn't it?"
"Yes, Baby." Isaac nodded. "I like it when you wear my clothes."
Jess smiled again. "Okay then. I'm going to go shower now."
"Alright."
Jess's shower didn't take long. Afterwards Isaac went to shower too. He quickly washed up and got out, pulling on sweatpants after drying off.
He didn't put on a shirt. Jess was comfortable around him and his house now, that he'd probably be fine with it. Plus, Isaac had changed in front of him plenty of times and had even slept cuddled up to him shirtless once.
He dried his hair off best he could and walked out of the bathroom. When he entered his bedroom again Jess was cuddled up in his bed. He had a blanket fully wrapped around him and was on his phone. He looked up and smiled at Isaac, his eyes traveling down to take in his naked torso.
Zack smiled and walked over. He leaned over to kiss Jess's forehead and then he laid down on the bed. Jess smiled over at him but didn't move.
Isaac jutted out his bottom lip in a pout. He opened up his arms and Jess chuckled while falling into them. He wrapped them tight around Jess's body and held him close.
I really love this boy.
Jess pulled up and looked at Isaac. There was an easy smirk on his face that was very attractive from Isaac's perspective. "We're not continuing from where we left off?"
At the words Isaac grinned. He rolled them over so he was over Jess, his arms on either side of the boy to hold himself up. Jess brought his hands up to cup Isaac's face and then they kissed each other.
"I-" Isaac interrupted himself to continue kissing Jess. "Am-" another kiss. "So-" at this point Jess was giggling after each kiss and it made Isaac's chest soar and a giddy smile spread over his features. "In love-" He kissed him one more time before completeing his sentence. "With you."
Jess giggled more now. He was staring back at Isaac and with the happy smile on his face he looked so, so beautiful. "I'm glad the feeling is mutual."
"You're in love with me? Are you sure? You and Ray seem like you really got something going." He joked and Jess giggled again, shaking his head. He loved that noise. He loved the look on Jess's face. He just loved Jess in general.
Then they were kissing again. Isaac couldn't get enough of him. He tasted like sugar and his presence felt like home.
"You're kissing me like you're never going to get to again." Jess said with a smile after they had been making out some more. Isaac would admit, he had been. He couldn't help it.
"Sorry." He chuckled. "I will get to kiss you again, won't I? This isn't the last time?"
Jess leaned forward to kiss him on the nose. "I can't even dream of kissing someone that isn't you. Why would I prevent you from doing so?"
Isaac smiled and leaned down, pressing his head into the crook of Jess's neck. "Good. Good."
"You're not letting other people kiss you, are you?"
Isaac leaned back up to look at him. "Why would I do that? I have you and that's all I want. You're the only one I want."
"Promise?"
His voice was slightly weaker now but he still had on a small smile. He still felt okay but he was a little insecure. Isaac nodded and kissed his jaw.
"Promise."
They kissed some more. They kissed so much their lips were swollen and Jess had a few new light hickeys on his neck. They would fade by tomorrow morning.
At one point, Jess flipped them over so he was straddling Isaac. Instead of continuing their kissing though he laid his head on Zack's chest. Isaac chuckled at his declaration of their session being over now.
He reached over and grabbed a blanket to cover them up. Then he bent down to kiss Jess's head before one hand went to play with his hair and the other rubbed up and down his back. Jess hummed happily.
"Are you tired?" Isaac asked quietly.
Jess hummed. "No, just really comfortable. I could probably fall asleep here but I'm not sleepy right now."
"Okay."
"Are you tired?" Jess inquired. His head was still laying on Isaac's chest.
"No." Isaac stared down at his boy. His beautiful boy. "But I'm really comfortable too."
"Okay."
They were quiet for a while. Usually Isaac hates the silence, but not when Jess is there. Jess just makes everything better.
Eventually he fell asleep. His breathing was slow and even against Isaac and his eyes were closed easily. Isaac smiled and kept rubbing his back.
Zack had never been so happy in his life.
Those lonely nights when his dad didn't get home until early hours in the morning weren't so bad anymore. He had Jess to talk to. Moments when the crowd was too much weren't so over stimulating anymore. Jess was there for him.
Someone was there for him. Someone that he didn't feel bad calling for help or texting when he felt alone. He's always had friends but there were some things you didn't share with them. He felt like he could tell Jess anything.
He had someone that made moments better. Jess made everything better.
His laugh made jokes better. His smile made happiness feel more real. His hand in Isaac's made his palm tingle. His lips against Zack's made the world seem brighter. His presence in the room made the air calm down.
He was just perfect. There was nothing about him that Isaac didn't love. Every inch of his body and every bit of his personality was wonderful.
His car smelled like love and the warmth comforted him. The quiet wasn't so daunting and scary anymore. He didn't find himself alone in his house as much anymore.
He didn't feel sick any time he was alone anymore because there was always a promise that Jess would join him if he needed him.
Life hadn't been terrible before. He had been okay. There were just moments when the world seemed like it was dark and it would take ages for it to get better.
It didn't seem so much like that anymore.
Now he found himself smiling over nothing. He could remember something simple and grin. He had friends that were real, he knew who he could trust.
He knew himself better now too. He felt alive and real. He was happy. Maybe not always but that felt impossible. Even when he wasn't happy, it didn't last long.
Things weren't as scary. There wasn't a future of loneliness in front of him. There wasn't fear that he'd be alone forever anymore. He was okay.
And it was all thanks to Jess Roma.
