“Yes, I’ve heard.”

She had really taken a liking to the girl sitting in front of her. Huo Mian was understanding, mature, and most importantly, real and down to earth.

“Hush now, child, no need for formality. Elite or not, as long as Su Yu likes you, the whole family will like you.” Mrs. Su smiled.

“So I will leave this matter to you then,” Mrs. Su reminded Huo Mian before she left.

By the time she got back to the hospital, she had fifteen minutes left before her lunch break was over.

Huo Mian pulled out her phone and sent Qin Chu a voice message on WeChat, “Honey, what are you doing?”

“I just finished a meeting. You?”

“I just ate. Honey, I want to ask your permission to do something!”
