“Mrs. Qin, have you had lunch?” Qin Chu smiled gently, and Huo Mian nodded. “Su Yu treated me to steak.”

Qin Chu raised an eyebrow upon hearing this. “You had lunch with Su Yu? It was even steak? You seem to be more and more courageous nowadays.”

“Haha, I didn’t ask him out, I bumped into him. No, wait, technically he asked to see me. Su Yu’s nice, he knows our company’s not doing well and tried to lend me money. I didn’t accept the cheque though.”

Upon hearing this, the audience burst into laughter as they clapped.
