Ever since she quit her job at GK, her life had been a lot easier. Qin Chu fully supported her to go back to being a doctor and she felt very happy about it.

“Honey, what are you reading? You look very focused,” Qin Chu said after showering. He walked over to the bed and hugged Huo Mian from behind.

“I’m studying. It’s been a while since I was at South Side… It’s been four years. Even though Director Wu and the others have faith in me, I can’t take this lightly.”

“Right. You can do it…” Qin Chu smiled and stroked Huo Mian’s long hair.

Then he laid down closely beside Huo Mian.

“What about you? Are you done your work?” Huo Mian asked as she put down her book.

“Almost. Ningning has been really helpful and saved me quite a bit of work, but I’m just not sure if headquarters will like the new company strategy or not…” Qin Chu pondered.

“One step at a time… Reform isn’t something you can do in a day. I understand how you want to innovate and keep up with the world, but our company is large, so reforms aren’t something you can do in a short period of time… We need to take our time.”

“I know. You’re always right,” Qin Chu said with a soft smile.

“What are you doing?” Huo Mian said. She was caught off guard.

“Honey, I’m cold…” Qin Chu said with a serious face.

“So?” Huo Mian had a feeling that whatever Qin Chu said next wouldn’t be something nice.

Just as she predicted, Qin Chu said, “I want to exercise with you to keep warm.”

“You’re so shameless!” Huo Mian’s face flushed bright red.

Qin Chu chuckled aloud. Then, he leaned down to kiss her red lips.

There was something special about Huo Mian: Whenever she was in front of Qin Chu, she would still be shy and timid, just like when she was a teenager.

That was why Qin Chu would tease her and they could relive their love just like when they were young.

Qin Chu had endurance. His waist was strong and he was very enthusiastic…

The next morning when Huo Mian woke up, she almost fell to the floor trying to get out of bed.

“Oh my god… My legs are so numb…” Huo Mian whined.
