“Sis-in-Law, where are you?” Tang Chuan was acting like he knew Huo Mian very well and there was nothing Huo Mian could do about it.

“Qin Chu and I are by 2nd High School for dinner…”

“Huh? Did you guys eat already?” Tang Chuan asked.

“Yeah. What time do you think it is? We came when I got off work. What’s the matter?” Huo Mian spoke with Tang Chuan on the phone while drinking the bubble tea that Qin Chu was holding on to.

“Ning and I booked a room at First Class Royal Palace. We want to treat everyone to hotpot…”

“Oh, but we already ate. You guys enjoy…”

“No. We’re leaving tomorrow so we wanted to gather everyone and treat you guys to a good meal. It’s not about the food. We just want to gather everyone before we leave…” Tang Chuan explained.

“Huh? Leave? You two?” Huo Mian didn’t know what was going on.

“Just come over! We’ll be waiting. Oh, we’re on the third floor of First Class Royal Palace, room 888.” Tang Chuan hung up right after he finished his sentence, not waiting for any response from Huo Mian.

“That Tang Chuan…” Huo Mian shook her head helplessly and put away her phone.

“Tang Chuan said he and Ning want to treat us for dinner tonight and that they’re leaving tomorrow. He wants us to go over now.”

“Ning-Ning is flying out tomorrow…Qin Chu nodded.

“How come I didn’t know about that?” Huo Mian said with surprise.

“I had Yang book the ticket. I even had to get someone at the airport to help or else I wouldn’t have been able to get her that ticket. I haven’t had the chance to tell you yet, but I was going to tell you when we got home.”

“Then we should head over. We don’t know when Ning-Ning will come back.”

“Yeah.” Qin Chu nodded.

The two drove over to First Class Royal Palace.

Jiang Xiaowei and Wei Liao had already arrived. Zhu Lingling came by herself as Gao Ran was nowhere to be seen. “Lingling, where’s Gao Ran?” Tang Chuan asked.

Sometimes I go to the Municipal Public Security Bureau and bring him something good to eat. I already sent Boyuan over to his grandparents’ place.” Zhu Lingling was also a bit exhausted.
