Music blasted in their ears as Su Yu and An glanced around the dancefloor, where men and women wearing next to nothing were grinding against each other.

The manager immediately brought some alcohol and fruit to the table.

“An, if you see a girl you like, just go for it, okay? Don’t hold back,” Su Yu said as he ate some sunflower seeds.

“It’s okay, President Su, that’s not my thing…” An shook his head.

Originally, Su Yu and An only wanted to stay for a little while, but they bumped into someone they knew…

“You’re here as well?” Su Yu asked.

“Ha, I’m single as well now so I’m here with friends… Why are you here?” Wei Ying had a lot of drinking buddies, so she was often at places like this. However, she was surprised to see Su Yu here since he rarely frequented clubs and bars these days.

Wei Liao was one of Su Yu’s best friends, so he had known Wei Ying since she was young, and she would call him Big Brother whenever she saw him. Their families were quite close as well.

Wei Ying and her tall friend immediately sat down across from Su Yu and An.

“Nice to meet you, Young Master Su,” the girl said shyly; she was pretty but her features weren’t distinct nor memorable.

“Wanyu, you said you wanted to work in the entertainment industry, right? Yu is the owner of the biggest entertainment company in the country… All of the famous celebrities are from Imperial Star. You know Nie Lingxuan, right? She works for Su Yu as well,” Wei Ying said proudly.

“I know, Young Master Su’s an idol to girls like me.” The girl smiled shyly at Su Yu.

“Big Brother Yu, people are saying that you’re currently dating Nie Lingxuan, is it true?” Wei Ying asked absentmindedly.

“Of course not,” Su Yu replied.

“I knew it! My brother would know if you were really dating again, but he said you weren’t… you’ve been single for quite some time now, right? Have you ever thought about dating again?” Wei Ying asked as she made eye contact with her friend.

Zhang Wanyu looked at Su Yu, her heart filled with anticipation.

“Being single’s good… women are a chore sometimes.” Su Yu took a sip of his beer, leaving both women feeling more awkward than ever.

“Oh, right, Big Brother Yu, do you know why no one in C City could find roses today?” Wei Ying suddenly asked mysteriously.
