“It is soon… ask your uncle tomorrow.” Huo Mian was shocked as well.

“Yanyan?” she asked with surprise.

“I’ll be outside, Chief.” Chen Jie immediately left Huo Mian’s office and closed the door behind her.

Huo Mian stood up and pulled a chair out for Huo Yanyan. “Come, sit down.”

“I’ve been looking for you for a while, your office is so secluded… I wouldn’t have known you were promoted to the vice director if I didn’t come!” Huo Yanyan smiled elegantly. She was wearing an apricot-colored dress and silk scarf.

She may be wearing luxury brands, but her outfits weren’t as flashy as they used to be.

After Huo Yanyan began dating Shen Mingxi, they rarely saw each other, nor did they interact on WeChat, aside from liking each other’s posts once in a while.
