“Mommy, that’s not important. The important thing is…we’re very worried, seeing the two of you like this.” Little Bean changed the topic cleverly.

“Like what?” Huo Mian giggled as she ate.

Little Bean pouted and said, “Having the two of you like this… It’s making the atmosphere at home incredibly strange… It’s scary! I guess our little brother’s not coming any time soon.”

“The two of you, stop guessing around, okay? Daddy and Mommy are fine.”

Huo Mian didn’t want to explain further. After the meal, she said goodbye to her in-laws and drove the twins to Sky Blessing Court.

“Uncle Zhixin!” Zhixin picked up the twins, one in each arm, as if he was Hercules.

“I’ve missed you girls so much!”

“She went to get you seafood from the market.”

After Huo Mian walked in, she took the initiative to clean her mother’s living room, floor, and kitchen.

The twins were watching T.V while snacking on their favorite treats, content as could be.

In the kitchen, Huo Mian was busy wiping away the oil on the range hood.

Zhixin walked towards Huo Mian. “Sis.”

“What?”

“Um… I wanted to talk to you about something.” Zhixin touched his nose.

“What is it?” Huo Mian replied, still wiping the range hood.

“Stop cleaning. This is important. I need you to pay attention.”

“Okay, what is it?”

Huo Mian smiled at Zhixin’s words. She took off her gloves and washed her hands.

“Sis, Bella and I have been talking about the same thing over and over again these days.”

“What?”

“About Zhang Manlin and Qin Chu.”

Huo Mian:

“You know Zhang Manlin, right? She’s working under you right now. I think there’s something going on between her and Qin Chu.”:
