“What’s going on, Mom? Is my sister pregnant again?” Zhixin seemed confused.

“President Qin, these are the documents for this morning’s conference.”

“Okay, leave them here,” Qin Chu replied without looking up. However, Bella didn’t leave.

“What else do you need?” He looked up at Bella, who was standing there with a serious expression on her face. “President Qin, I saw the news this morning. You went out with Zhang Manlin last night, didn’t you?”

“Since when is an assistant allowed to interfere with my personal life?” Qin Chu asked icily.

“As your subordinate, I don’t have to authority to interfere with your personal life. However, I’m friends with President Huo, and during the four years she survived without you, she took care of the twins and your company at the same time. Mian is such a great woman, and she’s given a lot to be with you. She really loves you.”

“So?” Qin Chu raised an eyebrow.

“So you shouldn’t do anything to hurt her.”

“So only she’s allowed to hurt me?” Qin Chu asked.

“I…” Bella suddenly didn’t know how to respond.

“Stay out of our business.”

“I know.”

You can leave now.” Qin Chu waved his hand impatiently.

“President Qin, when is Assistant Yang coming back?” Bella suddenly asked.

“Why?”

“Once he comes back, I would like to be moved back to my original position. I don’t think this current job is a good match for me.”

Qin Chu was speechless; Bella was obviously mad at Qin Chu. After all, she and Huo Mian were good friends.

“Okay, I’ll talk to Yang when he comes back. You’ll only have to be my assistant for a few more days.”

Originally, Qin Chu thought Zhixin would come knocking on his door and lecture him about what happened. However, to Qin Chu’s surprise, he didn’t. The morning passed by extremely calmly.

Zhang Manlin smiled. “Sure, let’s talk then.”

She and Zhixin then walked to a quiet corner in the hospital.
