Behind him stood four of his subordinates.

She began weakly.

“Big Brother Cheng, this is a misunderstanding. I’m not a traitor,” Zhang Manlin tried to talk herself out of the trouble.

Ah-Cheng tapped his cellphone and played a short audio clip.

Hearing her own voice, Zhang Manlin was dumbstruck.

It was the secret conversation she and Qin Chu had in the office… But, how did Ah-Cheng get this clip? Did Qin Chu give it to him?

“You didn’t know that our boss had planted bugs in Qin Chu’s office and even his home long ago? The boss and I heard every word when you swore loyalty to Qin Chu.”
