“I heard about the relation between you and Nalo…”

“It’s all in the past…” Huo Siqian didn’t like the topic of Nalo. When Huo Mian brought it up, he turned his head and didn’t continue.

“Mian, in your eyes, it’s probably a stain in my life or just a joke. But you must remember a man has no choice in certain situations. So long as I could live, I didn’t care what they did to me. So long as I’m still alive, I can still hope.”

“Okay. You have great fortitude.”

“Do you agree to my request?”

“I’ll think about it. But how can I trust you?”

“During your monthly visits to me, I’ll leak some information to you. It’s a win-win for both of us, isn’t it?”

“Okay. I see.”

Then she turned to leave.

“Mian, if you can’t love me, I’d be satisfied that you hate me… so long as you don’t forget about me.”

Huo Mian paused her steps for a moment and left without looking back.

Huo Siqian was a total jerk, but how come she felt so sad when she heard his words?

“He has a proposal.”

Then, she told him her conversation with Huo Siqian; of course, she only told him the proposal, not Huo Siqian’s affectionate words for her.

“I don’t need you to do it for me. Honey, I’ll investigate Ian. If I need you to help me with this thing, then I’m truly a useless husband.”

How could he let his wife visit another man every month?

At midnight, she took some sweets and drinks with Mr. Qin and went back to bed.

When she woke up again, the plane had landed.

“Honey, will we go home directly?” Huo Mian looked at the familiar city and almost jumped in excitement.

“No. We’ll go to Green Tea Restaurant.”

“Why are we going there?” Huo Mian was surprised.

“Su Yu has taken Pudding and Little Bean there to have sweets,” Qin Chu said with a smile.
