“No. Lu Yan can’t go with you.”

“Why not?”

“Mian, do you trust me?” Qin Chu raised his head and looked at Huo Mian instead of answering her question.

“Of course.”

“Then listen to me. I’ll go with you.”

“Um… Okay.” Seeing his determination, Huo Mian didn’t pursue the topic.

“Honey, I’m now the most protected person in our family, right?” Huo Mian asked with a pout before she left the room.
