Upon seeing this, Wei Ying’s heart jerked. After a deep breath, she walked up to him as if nothing had happened. “Mingxi, why are you here?”

“I, I… I came with some colleagues, they just left. You’re here as well?” he lied awkwardly. It was obvious that Shen Mingxi knew that Wei Ying was here.

“Mhm.” Wei Ying nodded.

“Are you cold? Why aren’t you wearing a jacket?” Shen Mingxi frowned at Wei Ying’s short-sleeved dress. He took off his black and white jacket and put it over her shoulders.

Then, silence.

“I…”

“You first.” Shen Mingxi smiled. He looked tired.
