“What do you think?” Su Yu glared at her.

Finally, Han Yueyao had no choice but to get in. Once she sat down, she discreetly sent Su Xiaoxiao a message telling her that she was with Su Yu, and that she should be careful.

Feeling awkward for the 100th time tonight, Han Yueyao began playing a popular game on her phone.

Su Yu tilted his head and almost exploded from fury. “How do you have the heart to play games right now?”

“What else should I do? Should I cry and ask for your forgiveness?”

“Can’t you be a normal person?” Su Yu wondered why this girl’s brain and actions were always so unique.

“President Su, don’t overestimate me. I’m just a minnow in the sea, a white shark like you shouldn’t pay too much attention to me.”

“President Su, aren’t you the one with too much free time? Shouldn’t you be thinking about what to buy Mian as a birthday present? Why are you here interfering with your employee’s nightlife?”

“Mian’s so nice to everyone. Although she didn’t tell anyone, people still know.”

The truth was, Han Yueyao only found out that it was Huo Mian’s birthday after Mrs. Su told her. Mrs. Su had bought Huo Mian a present as a thank you, and wanted Han Yueyao to give it to Huo Mian.

However, she refused. Why would she take something she couldn’t afford and give it to someone else? She wasn’t that prideful.

This was what she said to Su Yu’s mother.

“Auntie Su, I don’t think Mian would care about the monetary value of the gifts she receives. I’m a student, and I don’t have the money to buy expensive presents, so I don’t think it’s a good idea to take your present and give it to Mian, pretending that it’s mine. I’d rather buy her something with my own allowance.”

Upon hearing this, Su Yu’s mother agreed. In the end, she stopped trying to convince Han Yueyao into giving the Burberry scarf to Huo Mian.

Keeping in mind Huo Mian’s birthday, Han Yueyao brought it up to change the subject. Luckily, it worked.

“What are you giving her?” Su Yu asked curiously.

“Guess.” Han Yueyao smiled mysteriously.

“Nevermind me, rich people like you won’t care about my gift. It’s not expensive, but it’s from my heart. Mian’s been so great to me.”

“Don’t sound so serious. Did you receive the invitation?” Su Yu asked on purpose.

“Invitation?” As expected, Han Yueyao didn’t know.

“My friend, Tang Chuan, is throwing Mian a birthday party on a cruise ship… Tang Chuan’s fiancée, Qin Ning, is Mian’s sister-in-law. We’re all very close, the party was actually Qin Ning’s idea. You won’t be able to attend without an invitation.”

“So what? I need to go with you to get in?” Han Yueyao asked calmly.

“Do you think I’d take you?” Su Yu rolled his eyes at her.

“You’re driving me home at this hour, so why not be the good guy all the way?”

“If you’re going to act like this, then I really need to have a good talk with the woman staying at the Orthopedic VIP recovery room at South Side.” Han Yueyao laughed.
