With a small smile, Qin Chu carried a big-bellied Huo Mian to the bed and tucked her in carefully.

On the next morning, Huo Mian finished the morning meeting and went to do rounds, thinking Zeng Rou had left the hospital.

However, when she entered the ward, she saw Zeng Rou was having breakfast with a good appetite.

“How are you feeling? Is your leg better?”

“Then, can I go to your birthday party?” Zeng Rou looked excited.

“I know. I just think we’re fiends and I want to celebrate your birthday. If you don’t want me to bring a valuable gift, I’ll just go and have a free meal.” Hearing her words, Huo Mian found it was hard to refuse this request even though she didn’t want Zeng Rou to go to her birthday party.

It wasn’t that she didn’t like Zeng Rou; she just didn’t want to see the unpleasant meeting between Zeng Rou and Su Yu.

“Okay. If your leg is good, you can come.”

“Great. I knew you’d forgive me.”

After she left the ward, Huo Mian still had the uncomfortable feeling with her; she couldn’t name it since Zeng Rou had looked sincere and frank.

Still, Huo Mian felt something was wrong.

The most terrifying thing was that even though she knew Zeng Rou longer than she did Han Yueyao, Huo Mian felt more comfortable talking to Han Yueyao.

After Huo Mian left, Zeng Rou picked up her cellphone, typed the following message, and sent it, “Senior, it’s done.
