Seeing him back, Han Yueyao walked up and asked, “You didn’t eat anything… Tell me what you like to eat, and I’ll go get it for you…”

She thought Su Yu was not happy because Huo Mian called him out and gave him a lecture.

In one corner of the great hall, Qin Chu’s mother and Qin Ning were soothing the twins.

“My majesties, today’s your mommy’s birthday. Can you stop crying on this happy day?”

“Keep crying. When Mian comes, she’ll deal with you kids,” senior Mrs. Qin said in a huff.

Sure enough, Huo Mian and Qin Chu walked toward them.

“Sis, stop crying… Mommy’s here.”

Seeing her mommy, Little Bean immediately stopped her tears and even issued a warning to her sister.

“Now tell me what’s bothering you,” standing before the kids, Huo Mian asked calmly.

“Mommy… Wu… I miss Grandpa and Auntie… But…I know they left.”

“Who told you that?” Huo Mian asked the weeping Little Bean.

“Sis said you got us out of there because Grandpa and Auntie were leaving.”

“Yeah, they left.” Huo Mian didn’t lie to them.

Hearing her words, Pudding and Little Bean froze for a moment; then they exchanged a look and bawled even louder.

The twins loved their grandpa; they loved their Auntie Lu Yan even more…

Each time they visited, the kids always felt the time was too short and were sad to see them go. Huo Mian and Qin Chu understood their feelings.

“Do you plan to keep crying until tomorrow morning?” Huo Mian demanded.
