“Are the dishes to your taste?”

“Yeah, they are so delicious. Aunt, the person who prepared the food is a five-star cook.”

She wasn’t flattering. She had felt the fish cooked by her father was the most delicious dish, but after tasting the steamed grouper made by the Su Family’s chef, she knew her father had to admit defeat.

“Are you and Xiaoxiao roommates?” Su Yu’s father asked suddenly.

“Yes, Uncle.”

“Xiaoxiao is a mischievous girl. Her father asked us to take care of her, but the girl has grown up and is quite a handful. Yao, you must take care of Xiaoxiao for us,” Su Yu’s mother said.

“I…” Han Yueyao was about to say she ran errands, but on second thought, she decided against it since it would sound like Su Yu did wrong with her.

So she said, “I’m an assistant in the performance department.”

“Assistant?” Su Yu’s father frowned.

“Maybe Yu wants her to start from the bottom,” Su Yu’s mother explained.

“I…” Before Su Yueyao could answer, he continued, “But our Su Family won’t accept an actress as our daughter-in-law.”
