In the dining room, Zhu Lingling glanced at Little Bean.

“My daughter-in-law, what did you give her? Why did she have such a huge reaction?”

“It’s durian-flavored juice…”

Gao Ran: “…”

Gao Boyuan: “My Little Bean is very resourceful. With you here, we don’t need Auntie Huo Mian to help us.”

“Honey, seeing how we torture her, do you feel hurt inside?”

Then Zhu Lingling led Chen Yuning out of the building.

They didn’t speak on their way out and the atmosphere was quite tense.

Chen Yuning stopped as they came to the entrance of the complex.

“Are you complimenting me or insulting me?” Zhu Lingling stared her in the eye.

“Of course I complimented you…”

“No. Compared with you, I’m not good. If I was, I’d not be targeted by evil people… Don’t you think so?”

Chen Yuning understood her meaning, but she wasn’t angry; instead, she smiled.
