“My mom always taught me not to take anything I didn’t earn. We’re friends but we’re not so close that I don’t have to return 50,000 yuan to you. You’re not rich. Take it. Thank you for everything you did for me.”

“So, superstar, you’re popular now, so you’re eager to draw a line with me, the lowly mechanic, right?”

Lin Hang put down the chopsticks and stood up slowly; he stared at Han Yueyao’s eyes.

“It’s fine if you want to think this of me.” Han Yueyao shrugged.

“Is money so important to you? More important than your conscience?” He continued to ask.
