“Yao, congratulations for making it to the next round,” Gao Yaruo said with a smile.

“Thank you.”

Han Yueyao’s reaction was bleak but Gao Yaruo was still thick skinned enough to sit closely to her.

“I live streamed it today. You did great. You and Yuan Bo are a great combination. Oh, I saw that Yuan Bo confessed to you live. You two would make a great couple,” Gao Yaruo continued saying with a smile.

Han Yueyao knew that this woman next to her came with no good intentions.

As expected, Gao Yaruo continued talking about her and Yuan Bo in front of Su Yu.

Gao Yaruo was such a cunning b*tch.

“Yuan Bo and I are work partners. Even if the media said it, people won’t believe it,” Han Yueyao said calmly.

“But from what I see, Yuan Bo seems really into you… Why don’t you consider it? As a friend, I think it’ll be good for you. Yuan Bo is very popular. If you really were his girlfriend, your future would be bright.”

Han Yueyao put down her chopsticks and scoffed at Gao Yaruo.

“First of all, I know what’s between Yuan Bo and I. Second, Gao Yaruo, did you forget what I warned you about? We were never friends. My only friend at Imperial Star Entertainment is Su Xiaoxiao. Please don’t think of yourself so greatly. There’s no gold stuck to your face. Third, if you want to speak with me next time, please don’t pick it while I’m eating. After all, I don’t want to lose my appetite.”

Gao Yaruo: “…”

Han Yueyao’s words were sharp and disrespectful to Gao Yaruo.

Maybe some would say she was snappy, blunt, and unsociable.

But if she was smooth and sociable, she was not Han Yueyao.

After putting down Gao Yaruo, Han Yueyao stood up with her plates. She even ignored An and Su Yu.

The only thing Gao Yaruo could do was stand up and run away with extreme embarrassment.

“Wow… She’s spicy. Ms. Han is like a guy.”

An was impressed by how Han Yueyao didn’t hold back at all in a fight but would rarely start one on her one.

Su Yu touched his nose and didn’t comment. Instead, he continued to gouge down the mountain of food.

In the afternoon, Su Yu attended a big conference meeting about the next season’s plan.

An awaited outside of the meeting room. He was incredibly bored, so he took out his phone and messaged Huo Mian.

An: “President Huo, are you free?”

Huo Mian: “Yeah.”

An: “President Huo, if you have time, you should pay our President Su a visit.”

Huo Mian: “Why? Is he not feeling well?”

An: “Not that. He’s just been having nightmares a lot lately. He wakes up in the middle of the night and can’t fall back asleep. His sleep quality is so poor now. I’ve worked for him for a few years now but I’ve never seen him like this.”

Huo Mian: “How long has it been?”

An: “Almost a week now. It’s been like this for the past month. He keeps having dreams and wakes up from them. I think he’s had three nightmares now. When he wakes up, he looks very sad.”

Huo Mian: “What did he dream about?”

An: “It’s about you…”

An was hesitant when talking about Su Yu’s nightmares.

Huo Mian: “About me? What is it An? If you know, please tell me.”

An: “President Su dreamt that you were hurt. Your body was all bloody. You were in a forest and he heard gun sounds. It sounded terrifying. You know how much you mean to him and so I think he might be cursed. I want to get a priest, but he doesn’t believe in these kinds of things.”

Huo Mian: “Is Su Yu under a lot of pressure lately?”

Huo Mian was rather concerned because an ordinary person would not have such frequent nightmares.

An: “Not really. He’s not that under pressure. It’s been good.”

Huo Mian: “Where is he now?”

An: “In a meeting.”

Huo Mian: “Okay. I’ll talk to him after his meeting.”

An: “President Huo…”

Huo Mian: “Don’t worry. I won’t say you told me.”

An: “Thanks President Huo.”

Huo Mian wanted to chat with Su Yu and ask how he was. However, she never expected this meet up with Su Yu to not be able to happen due to an accident that would happen to him.
