“You’re mistaken.” Leila smiled mysteriously.

“What on earth is your purpose?” Huo Mian was uneasy, feeling something bad would happen.

She had the same feeling long ago when the plane that Qin Chu took exploded.

It kept them apart for four years.

She hated this uneasy feeling.

“You’ll know it. Don’t worry.”

Leila turned around and lay on the big bed lazily…

“I heard that Lu Yan is very good.”

Hearing her mention Lu Yan, Huo Mian was startled again.

She didn’t answer, afraid her words would put her beloved sister into danger.

“It’s the first time I met you and you’re just what I expected; no, you’re more disappointing than I expected… How can such a stupid woman like you be regarded by some as a genius… This might be the biggest joke of the century. So, I’m doubtful if War Goddess and bomb genius Lu Yan will live up to her reputation.”

“Yan’s not as mild as I’m… You’d better not mess with her,” Huo Mian warned.

Leila just smiled, “Now you roused my interest. I’m quite eager to see her. Oh, do you know that the people who have seen my face all ended in either of the two groups; the first group are my obedient dogs and the other are rotting corpses. Which group do you want to join?”

“Neither.” Huo Mian said without hesitation.

“Tsk, tsk… Fine. It doesn’t matter since you won’t have a chance to tell people my secret anyway…” She chuckled.

A pistol appeared in her hand and she aimed it at Huo Mian.

“With one bullet, you’ll be put out of misery and pain.”

“If you want to do it, do it now. Don’t dilly-dally.” Huo Mian was fearless, knowing the situation was now out of her control now.

When Leila aimed the gun at her, she knew her fate was not in her hand.

Before Leila could pull the trigger, Huo Mian said suddenly, “But if you kill me, you won’t get the antidote.”

“Oh? Did you poison me?” Leila understood immediately.

“Yeah. I’m obsessed with making toxics lately and you can’t find them in the market.”

Huo Mian had been very proud of the poison she made, and she had planted it on Leila when the latter got close to her.

She wasn’t worried about herself since she had an antidote, but Leila should show the effects of the poison by now, right?

For example, her palms should begin to itch in a bad way.

“I played this trick many years ago and then dumped it… Not to mention your poison, even Professor Lu’s poison can’t have any effects on me…because I’m immune to any toxics.”

With a smile, Leila stood up and as she said, she was fine.

“Impossible. I don’t believe it.”

Seeing Leila show no response to her poison, Huo Mian was shocked, thinking it was Leila’s psychological trick to get the antidote.

But she indeed looked fine. Usually, her poison would enter the victim’s heart in 30 seconds. What had happened?

“So, come on, my stupid Ms. Huo Mian, it’s my turn to play you .”

With a smile, she placed the nuzzle of the gun against Huo Mian’s forehead.

As her finger began to pull the trigger, the air seemed to become still…
