Huo Siqian greeted them at the door and the three went in together.

“I picked them out already. You can just pay.”

Huo Siqian smiled at Su Yu.

Without a second thought, Su Yu took off his Patek Philippe watch and made his way toward the only store clerk in the shop.

“We don’t have cash, but this watch is very expensive. It’s enough to buy your entire store.”

Su Yu sounded very proud, but he was speaking the truth.

His Patek Philippe watch was worth millions. Su Yu wasn’t lying when he said it could buy the entire store.

The clerk looked at Su Yu with a poker face.

“We don’t accept things. Cash only.”

“What? Are you mental? Take a good look at this. My watch is Patek Philippe. Do you know this brand?” Su Yu was about to explode.

If it wasn’t for the dire situation, he would never trade his million-yuan watch for some bags of food and a tank of gas.

“We don’t want Patek Philippe. We want bills.” The male clerk insisted.

“Go get the owner for me.” Su Yu was running out of patience.

“There is no owner.”

“Then get me the manager.”

“You’re talking to him.”

“What the…” Su Yu was stunned.

Huo Mian began to observe the store ever since she first set foot in it. There really was only one store clerk… and his expression looked very unnatural.

“Huo Siqian, I’m out of options. He doesn’t want my watch…”

Su Yu left with his head held high but returned with his spirits wiped.

Huo Siqian grabbed a wooden stool for Mian to sit down.

He then walked toward the store clerk, smiling.

In the blink of an eye, he took out a handgun and pointed it against the clerk’s temple.

“Listen kid, I don’t have time to waste. Give us a full tank of gas and some food to eat and we won’t hurt you… don’t try anything funny… my gun might go off.”

“You… you… you… your gun is fake… right?”

The clerk stammered, watching Huo Siqian in disbelief.

Smiling, Huo Siqian pointed his gun at a glass container jam-packed with candy behind the clerk.

Bang! The glass shattered instantly. How could something so powerful be a toy?

With power like that, if the bullet hit his head… it would probably explode, right?

Finally, the store clerk’s poker face shifted…

“Don’t kill me…I’ll do whatever you want.”

Huo Siqian then smiled at Huo Mian and Su Yu, his expression clearly indicating that he was successful.

“What? That worked? Are we robbers?” Su Yu was truly shocked by what he was witnessing.

Maybe it was his military background… his values were very traditional. He’d never thought that he would one day appear in front of someone as a mugger. Although it was a desperate situation, it was still… unbelievable.

Huo Siqian, on the other hand, wasn’t weirded out at all. He was never a virtuous person to begin with…

“So… when he told me to pawn my watch… he was playing me?” Su Yu suddenly understood something.

Huo Mian smiled and said nothing. As for Huo Siqian’s small prank on Su Yu, it was nothing serious.

After Huo Siqian threatened the store clerk, the latter was scared out of his wits.

First, under Huo Siqian’s supervision, he put gas into the car. Then, he took the initiative to boil ramen for the three guests.

While he was busy preparing, Huo Mian, Su Yu, and Huo Siqian sat down on some chairs, waiting for the meal to begin.

The atmosphere was quite relaxing, but Huo Mian still couldn’t calm down.

“There are cameras here, right? If they catch you for what you just did, you’ll get sentenced.” Huo Mian looked at Huo Siqian worriedly.

“Sentenced? Do you really think I’d care?”

“Huo Siqian, after we get out safely, what are you going to do? Are you coming back to C City with us?” Su Yu asked, also curious.
