As Bella thought she got closer to the truth, she felt a stinging pain in the back of her head.

“Zhixin, take me to the security’s room. I want to see the surveillance record.”

Finally, Zhixin and Qin Chu put together the video clips from the cameras in their home and the community.

They saw Bella, but she was alone in the clip. They looked carefully and couldn’t see anyone around her.

Qin Chu gasped.

The captain of the security team said, “This lady is dream-walking or something? What was she doing outside at this late hour?”

“Impossible. I’ve lived with my wife for a long time and I know she never dream walks.”

“Fast forward it. I want to see where she went.”

Impatiently, Qin Chu let the security guard fast forward the video and saw Bella walking toward the wasteland behind the community.

Without a word, Qin Chu pulled Zhixin into his car and drove to the wasteland. Finally, they found unconscious Bella in the snowy wasteland; there was a puddle of blood under her head.

Instantly, Zhixin’s face turned ashen…

“Honey… What happened to you? My god… Why?”

Not able to process what he saw, Zhixin was stupefied.

Not daring to say anything, Qin Chu helped Zhixin carry Bella into the car and raced to the nearest hospital—the First Hospital.

Then Yang Meirong and Jing De hurried to the hospital.
